Sweet trade - got Nats Claws

I just traded Peasant Crown and Venom Grip for Nats Claws :surprise:
The guy who gave them to me had only been playing for 3 weeks and he got them from his friends.
He didnt know how much they were worth ^ ^
Anyway, what's a good build for using Nats Odium?

I do have some skills questions b4 starting on my new assa.

Do you have much use for your DS? I was thinking of taking 5 points to get to it. I know Nali said why not just get a claw with DS, but after casting DS and switching back to NatsMark/Tucs the DSs just explode so thats not gonna work.
And after maxing PS, FoF and CoT what skills have u invested more points into?
I was thinking raising SM to lvl 17 (maybe Ill use shadow claws on switch) and the rest into CM.
Ive never worn the whole Nats Set but I think itll give some nice res, thats why I wonder if its possible to save one sp from Fade?

edit: forgot one thing, switching to shadow claws would mean that Id lose the 5 points from nats set and tucs, 6-5=1 extra point to SM :rolleyes:

I think DS is a great skill - well worth 5 points IMO. However, if you want to throw a +skill claw on the switch, go for it.

I got SM to 17, then put the rest into Claw Mastery (better than DC).

I never used Fade with my build. I socketed an All Res jewel in my helm, and 3 resist runes in my armor - I was easily inthe 60s with all resistances. No problem!

Q about weapons:
What should I socket my Nats claw and Tucs with? I was thinking shaels, is that necessary? re there better options?

Check the breakpoint table in the sticky - I'm honestly not sure on the IAS and Frame Rate of Dragon Claw, although, I'm sure that with 1 point in BoS, you'll be fine.

What have you in your weapons?
What finisher do u use to spam meteors? I find DC to take too long time for spamming. The only options left are normal attack or DTalon. DTalon is very fast, has ar and attacks twice (higher chance of triggering meteor).

Can someone check if I got this right?

So if Im gonna use nats claws(primary) and tucs(second) the calcultaions would be:
(-30 + 0)/2 +(-30 - 0) = -15 + -30 = -45

With a lvl 8 BoS I would only need 5% ias to reach 10 fpa?
That seems to be a little too low so I think I did something wrong.

Your calculations are correct, you'll only need 8 BoS + 5% IAS to hit the 10 frame cap due to your -45 WSM(I think you're aware you'll get this WSM if you equip your Mark as the right-hand slot on your Inventory screen. When you die, you'll have to re-equip your claws to get the -45 WSM, otherwise the WSM reverts back to -15.

IMO, though, if you're going with -45 WSM route, there's not much reason to use BoS. You only need 75% IAS to reach 10 frames without BoS, so a Shael socket in the Mark + a 15% IAS jewel socket elsewhere will allow you reach 10 frames, and you're still able to use BoS(since the Mark already has 40% innate IAS).

And Im going to wear LoH and Highlords, plus nats ias, that like 80% ias right there. That means I dont have to socket my nats with a shael right?

Right-hand slot as in the right weapon slot when viewing the Inventory screen(eg. the slot you would usually put your Shield in). In order to get the -45 WSM, you have to equip the Mark in your right hand Inventory slot first, then put your Bartuc in the left hand Inventory slot.

Once you weapon switch or die, the claw order resets, and no matter what order you put the claw in, the game takes the claw in the left-hand Inventory slot as the primary claw(in this case, the Bartuc) and the right-hand Inventory slot as the secondary claw(in this case, the Mark). This is bad for two reasons: 1) The WSM will revert to an average of the two claws, in this case -15 WSM. 2) You will no longer receive the 40% IAS bonus of the Mark as IAS on the secondary claw does not work with DC.

So yes, every time you die or weapon switch, you will have to remove both claws and re-equip them in the correct order if you want to keep the -45 WSM and 40% IAS.

Forgive me for being slow but whats with the 10 fpa?
I think Ive reached it with my 80% ias (nats, LoH, Highlords) but with bos i attack even faster. So why aim for 10 fpa?
