Is Fireblast worth it?

Let it all out guys, what do you think? For a pure trapper is it better to max all of the lightning synergies or skip one and max FB? Assume a lvl 17 shadow master and some kind of merc tank. Also this is obiviously for pvm. So where do you stand?

Of course its worth it, u need some other kind of damage besides lightning and physical (merc). Not to mention fb gives extra shots to ds. If my memory serves most trappers only invest 18 pts into fb because thats the max amount of shots a ds can get from fb synergy. Do u plan on using + to assassin skills equipment or + traps. If u have +2 assassin amulets and helms u can get away with only a few pts into master to save some pts. If u are using shako and a +2 assassin amulet u only need to put 7 hard pts into master (2x +3 shadow claws on switch). U may not be able to max it but any pts into it are worth it

Ps it also synergizes CBS, which is better for bosses then ls.

I like Fire Blast. It fits better into some situations than Blade Fury. And definitely, as bone said, the extra shots for Death Sentry are great. I barely even use Lightning Sentry anymore. I'm usually willing to tank/MB/CoS longer with 4 or 5 DSentries firing since the damage difference isn't too much.

Shockweb isn't that bad. PvP it has its uses. And it gives more Charged Bolts for CBS. So level 18 SWeb gives the best possible CBS. :) CBS is good for bosses, but its also good against critters, like midget mummies.

Fire Blast is the bomb! (literally) For PvP I have no clue... but PvM it rocks.
