View Full Version : Anyone have Chaos in Runic Talons?

So I am working on getting gear for a PvP WW Assassin, and I scored a Fury Runic Talon last night. I have a Chaos, but it's in a Suwayyah. I have no problem using the Runic Talons, but the STR and DEX reqs are higher, so I figure I might as well get Chaos in a Runic Talon as well if I am going to up my STR and DEX to use one (slightly more damage).
Does any one of my fellow Assassin lovers have Chaos in a Runic Talon that they would be willing to trade? I asked around in the trade forums, but no one responded. I thought I might get a better response here.
Let me know if you're at all interested in a trade - I would really appreciate it! Thanks! :)
runics are pretty bad. not sure why you'd even want one.

Suwayyahs have higher average damage than Runic Talons. Runic Talons are just faster.
The reason people put Chaos/Fury into Suwayyahs is because the IAS from Chaos/Fury is enough to hit the last WW breakpoint.
The extra speed of Runic Talons is not needed and the higher stats, lower damage are a big turnoff.

...I realize that suwayyahs are generally better, that wasn't why I was asking...
I've got a happy little runic myself... but I like it on my kicker. :p

You have a Chaos on your kicker???
what realm are you on, and do ou play nonladder or ladder?

Yeah. I built it dual-claw and Chaos is by far the best primary claw you can get. On Ladder 1 before I learned about pre-buffing and such I found an Ohm and a +3 SM 15/15 superior Runic and went for it. Truth be told I'm very happy with it, but my kicker has been stripped for various half-finished projects.

heh actually that was directed to sky but its all good
