View Full Version : Cubing Questions
Since my discovery of ATMA (it makes me shudder to think of the stuff I sold off before I had this) I have been saving nearly everything. I'm a packrat in real life, so why should I expect any more out of my Diablo characters?
I don't know too much about cubing charms, but I've been saving all of them. I gather that you should cube charms of similar level, but is there a cutoff on the level of charm that I should just sell instead of save?

The item level of the charm says what mods it can have. Usually, we save only the high-level ones for rerolling. To reroll: 1 charm + 3 perfect gems.
If you are going after skillers, there is an optimum level I don't remember now, but it is at NM late act3. Go after the level of the mods, so that you know what to expect when rerolling a charm - well, when rerolling anything blue, in fact.

The best ilvl for rerolling skillers is 50+. I wouldn't bother using anything lower than that.

If the site I've been using is correct, you *have* to use charms that are 50+. If you use 50 you have the best chance of getting a +skill prefix. The higher level charms can have more prefixes, so the chance of you getting the +skill is lower. Of course, there are high level affixes that are desirable, but you might have to roll more times.
ok, thanks for the advice. It looks like Malah will be having a "Crazy Blow-out Charm Sale" tonight.
