View Full Version : Cerebus vs Delirium?

I found a helm with +3 Rabies and +2 Fury. Had been planning on making a "Stone Wind" Druid but now thinking of building a "Carrion Wolf" instead (see Electric Blue's guides). Any opinions of the viability of using a Delirium rune word in this helm I found to good effect? Or is it better to stick with Jalal's or a perfect Cerebus' Bite (could use the Ist from the Delirium towards buying one).
Thanks.

Well, I would go for a Jalal's, but there are things to consider.
Delirium:
+confuse, good crowd control when active
+attract charges, for the times when fast attacking enemies put you into hit recovery+blocking and confuse doesn't trigger
+one point stronger rabies
-nothing to boost your char except defence
-delirium prevents attacking with fury and rabies
Jalal's mane
+faster hit recovery
+resists
+plus 2 to shapeshifting and +2 to all means +4 to rabies, feral, fury lycantrophy and werewolf
+stats
+attack bonus
+mana after kill means less need for mana leach
+socketable
-nothing original, very standard
Cerebus' bite
+open wounds
+attack bonus
+the skills
+life leach
+socketable
-costly?
-open wounds isn't as needed when rabies is active
Please remember that this isn't a objective assesment or even that accurate probably.
Depends if for pvp or pvm
pvm its almost always jalals because of the nice mods you can get from it including resist.
for pvp:
bears mostly use cerbus for ar
wolves mostly use jalals b/c of the stats
elementalist usually use shako, delerium w/ good + skills for their element, CoA
basically what it comes down to is that for melee jalals and cerbus tend to be the choices because all your getting is +2 skills and 10 stats which dont really help out melee builds.

Thanks for the input. I usually just PvM. Thought I would float this question here as I was interested in using something a little more unusual than Jalal's or Cerebus' Bite.
