hi y'all...long time lurker, first post...in this forum anyway

after having seen druids since i started playing, i finally decided to make one, just cause they look like fun and i'm sick to death of sorc.

anyway, he's lvl 70 now and i have to make some equipment decisions

1. ik boot/belt/glove combo

2. gores/string or verdungos (dont know which yet)/but what gloves.

i have a couple of choices on gloves...steelrends for the str and a bit of cb or souldrainers for a little more leech.

other equipment:
duress, 299% upped shael'd ribcracker (its nice to have friends cause i think mf is deadly boring), jalals, highlords, raven, dual leech ring (that i could swap for something else maybe if i go with the souldrainers)

also, keep the ribcracker or use perf bonehew, but then what to socket it with..decisions, decisions...oh..this is hardcore if that makes a difference.

anyway, opinions?

thanks..amey

Welcome to the druid forum! :howdy:

Since you are a lurker I doubt you would have missed our excellent sticky. ;)

I'm guessing you have a pure fury druid. Correct me if I'm wrong.

For the equipment I'd choose gores/string(has up to 8% life leach and mdr)/souldrainers(weaken curse might be nice in hardcore)
This would give you some deadly strike, crushing blow, life leach and weaken. If you choose IK's you would gain life, strength, dexterity, attack rating and faster hit recovery.

If you feel you need more attack rating go for another raven.
I'd suggest staying with the ribcracker since it has excellent faster hit recovery and crushing blow. And the sound...

May your wolf be everlasting.

Welcome To The Druid Forum!!! :D :D :D

I'd attempt to add to the advice already given, but it would all be outdated and useless, so... Phat Bunny Away!

Forcefeedback, proudfoot:

yes, fury druid. enough elementals out there, i didnt need to copy. ;)

pretty much the direction i was headed (except i was leaning towards verdungos over string, more leech is always better though), but never having played one before, it never hurts to ask for more expert opinion.

he still has 165 stat points to spend. i've gotten by with the lower life so far by using another computer and putting my barb in for bo. shifted and with lvl 35 bo he has i think 3.2k life. the boost to experience for levelling helps as well.

off to try and get the 4 levels for the gloves..

again, thanks..amey ;)

165 unused stat points in hardcore! :surprise: You sure take a lot of risks.

I guess from the amount of life that you are using oak sage so you could get along with low vitality, but is it worth the risk in hardcore? Fury will give you a good amount of damage modifier and your weapon is excellent so I don't see the point of going with a strength build unless you aim for a pk character. The amount of life you could have with maxed vitality...

not risk so much as superstition. after i spend points i die...so i hold off on it til absolutely necessary.
