using wands

this question is short but has 2 parts...

1) can you get a wand with decrepify or amp damage charges.

2) which spell will remove physical immunes immunity. I have heard that both do and that only amp damage does. some clarification would be very helpful

1. I've seen just about every other necro curse, but never decrep or amp charges. I would think some fool would have tried to use it in pvp by now, but I haven't seen any, so they probably don't exist. Feel free to look though, I could be wrong :)


2. They both will. Decrepify lowers phys resistance by 50%, whereas amp lowers it by 100%. I have only seen the occasional monster(Very rare) that was so phys immune that decrep couldn't break it. Not entirely sure if amp would break it, but it probably would.

ok, hey thanks a lot for the answer, I was beginning to worry that no one was sure :) Ok that leads me to my next question...

I keep hearing about the weapon "reapers toll" how it cast decrepify etc... are there any other weapons or items in general that have that ability. not counting the amulet saracens chance or whatever it is that cast amp damage... I havent played in a while and lost my chars, so startin over has limited my ability to obtain higher lvl items... well at least temporarily.. thanks again..

Reapers toll is the best bet with 33% chance to cast decrep. Can't recall any others at all, much less ones that are viable to use. Put it on an act2 merc and you're good to go. You should be able to obtain it for pgems or lower runes, or even for free.

Lacerator {unique winged axe} have 33% chance to cast amp damage upon hit, but can be annoying when its % chance to cause monster flee kicks in.

Another alternative if you have somewhat high strength would be to pick up the unique martel de fur {spelling?}, its the unique maul that has amp damage charges on it {too few for practical pvm use}.

atamas ammy cast it as well ... and no none of them can spawn on a wand as charges.

you can get amp charges on the unique martel de fer, and you can get decrep and teleport charges on the spellsteal bearded axe. Wands may not spawn with it, and as far as that goes, your best bet is indeed a merc with reapers toll.
