i just recently bought a copy of LOD and DII..i installed DII..upgraded to lod then installed the 2.10 patch..but when i try to connect to Battle.Net to play multiplayer..the servers i get are these:

server.fsgs.net
broodwars.com
brutal clan server
intranet o.o.o.o

i want USEast, USWest, Europe, Asia(the bnet realms)

why do i get these other servers instead of the bnet realms?? PLZ HELP..

When you connect, do you start Lod and then choose battle.net?

If not, is your patch right? 2.10 doesn't exist, 1.10 is the latest. What you could do is to install the game again without the patch and connect directly to battle.net. The patch will automatically be installed.

ya i mean 1.10 my bad..i installed the patch then opened diablo..and..the battle.net servers are the ones i listed..i will reinstall now..n see if it works

You shouldn't need to install the patch and then open diablo. It works the other way around. When you've got Diablo, connect to battle.net and it will upload the patch automatically. What patch did you install and where did you get it from?

I already wrote the following in a previous thread about this:

There is no 2.10 patch, only the 1.10 patch. I guess you installed a fake update. The game will download the latest update on its own, so uninstall whatever you have now, re-install, connect to bnet and the realm of your choice with the unpatched game and the latest patch will be downloaded and installed automatically.

If you still get these servers when starting the unpatched game, you have a manipulated, pirated version.

I also replied to this... I know what he's gonna say. He bought the battle chest version of Diablo.

I'm assuming that you installed DII, right? (as opposed to Diablo). Make sure you install Diablo II and the Lord of Destruction Expansion Pack. Once you do, when you see the main intro screen (which gives you options like play game, battle.net etc.), pick the Battle Net option (if that's what it's called). The moment you do, it'll connect you to Blizzard's servers and upload the most recent patch (v1.10). After which time, you should be set to go.

I don't know what's wrong with your game... if you can, post a screenshot for us to see. It may help us identify the problem.
