needs to be at -20
best in .09 was fanged knife because you need to hit -60 to get 5 frame fury and it had 36 avg dmg vs. PB's 33 avg
but theres plenty better stuff than fury

I picked other - imo, a balrog blade is perfect for "Fury" - the other items you listed have too little damage imo
If you want only one handed, then i'd go with the cryptic sword cuz you already get 40ias w/ fury.
But I also agree w/ Ash, there's much better out there.

ffk and fpb are the only options.

MrPipes, like you man, but you look like a crackhead in your picture  hahaha!! very funny. ffk is the only way to go. if u have alot of dex, it adds to ur dmg, cuz its a dagger. i used to own hard in legit duels in 09 with my ffk. plus it hits 5fpa just shy of the max. why even now, my ffk with 180 top dmg, does more dmg than my caddy with 192 as top dmg. http://groups.msn.com/MechForce/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=142 there it is. and how do you guys get your pics so clear in your avatar?
I agree, Ash, there's much better stuff, but I always loved Fury in .09 and could never have it because I was so poor. Now, on the other hand, I can afford pretty much anything now that I want (within reason), and I was skimming through AS and just saw it. *drool*
originality is pimp
maybe i should use fury on a OW pally
Only two viable choices for a Fury (the skill) Werewolf. Phase Blade and Fanged Knife. Other wepons would be 6 Frames. Choosing between those two, I'd say, that Fury Phase Blade was the better, despite the slightly higher damage of the Fanged Knife, because of the range. I don't really think that range 1 is that great anymore with people using hit-and-run and other tactics.

I picked other, FFK is king. My E-FFK was even cooler, I never lost with that thing, I even beat Fury-KTH with it once, that doubled my wins against him.

Well, I think you're talking 1.09 AND werewolf vs. werewolf duel (or atleast melee duels). In this case I agree, but if you were to stick to just one weapon, I would definitely pick the one with the longer range.
Dunno, I rarely ever duel (or even see) another werewolf druid. Heck, I rarely ever duel, nowadays. :)
Ouch, I didn't even think of the eFFK ... O_O

Am I missing something here about PvP? I was under the impression that it was PvM...
Anywho, a fury fanged knife? :cheesy: I know it's been a while since I've visted the druid but 180 damage?
Thats not gonna cut it in hell. I'd say you need a balance of damage and power...this is why I picked a balrog blade.

I'm fairly sure that we're talking PvP, since the poll only has 1 handers to vote for. If you made a Fury Balrog Blade, it would swing awefully slow, since Werewolves only get a "speedbonus" with using two handed Mauls, Axes and Polearms. Something like a Fury Giant Thresher would be great (and break the 5 FPA Fury (the skill) breakpoint). So would any other maul/axe/polearm with WSM = -5 or less.
Yes, e = etheral in most cases.

Thanks for the clarification...it's just kinda odd that there's wolves running around with knives taking out giant sword weilding barbs and such... :
yeah, this is talking about PvP, not PvM, sorry that I didn't clarify

keep in mind most used ffk in .09. pvm was a lil easier back then. but fury sucks for pvm, the repair costs were just outrageous.

Well, generally high-end runewords that aren't 'Indestructible' are pretty costly for PvM... I think you're confusing the skill and the runeword. :p
ffk pwn d l33t fooz
so um yea ffk

u must mf alot to be able to fully repair a fury weapon, which is around 200k if im not mistaken. there are decent alternatives.

agreed...i've used a "fury" balrog blade on some of my melee chars and the repairs costs were pretty high...it can be offset w/ wearing chancies or "wealth" armor if you're MF'ing.

well you can always stack ort runes.
ort rune + weapon = fully repaired weapon.
i use that on chaos and fury claws, trust me, fury claw with sup and skills costs A LOT of gold.
instead of spending those mf runs, might as well kill countess or do some baal runs, ort runes are quite common.

The FFK had it's day in 09, but towards the end, no one would be caught dead with one. All those people running bots reduced the price of gris caddys, and the casual participants of the DvD community never looked back.

What no, I still used effk and e-star depending on the situation.
Why would the repair costs be a reason not to use an item? all you have to do is kill some people in pubs and take their gold E Z
yeah...things like repair costs are quite irrelevant, imo...
