Howdy, folks!
There are a ton of new faces here, so just to give a little background:
I like to draw. I like to draw Diablo stuff.
Ok, enough background. :)
Since Nightfish finished up his 7 hardcore guardians a couple months ago, I wanted to reward his hard work with a custom drawing of all his characters. Normally, I'll draw one or two characters per piece, but I bit the bullet and drew two separate pieces, each with 4 characters (that's including the Assassin's shadow) and joined 'em up for the viewing pleasure of all!
So, check it out, and see what you think.

From left to right, the characters are: Daevana, Assassin with shadow; Thanatos, Necro(Fishy)mancer; Celes, Amazon; Knightfish, Paladin; Dunamis, Sorceress; Ulath, Barbarian; and Nightwolf, Druid.
I thought it was called septavirate, but I might be wrong. Very nice drawings though! My dad is an artist but I didn't inherit his talent. :grrr:

Yeah, folks call it septavirate...but I don't think that's grammatically correct :scratch:
It's triumvirate, for three, so I'm thinking septumvirate, for seven.

I've always thought the assassin would be sexier & grinning when she puts the smack down on the bad guys - but that's just me. I'm a dork too :lol:

Septemvirate is correct, I believe.

However it is a bit confusing to see eight characters on the picture. I actually had to re-read your post to realize that “odd” person is a shadow! So why not to paint a Valkyrie too?
Never mind – I’m complete noob at drawing art!

Since we get several opinions on correct spelling of the term, that means “The Power of Seven”, I did some web searching and found the following.
Septemvirate - \Sep*tem"vi*rate\, n.[L. septemviratus.] The office of septemvir; a government by septimvirs.
Septemvir - \Sep*tem"vir\, n.; pl. E. Septemvirs, L. Septemviri. [L. septemviri, pl.; septem seven + viri, pl. of vir man.] (Rom. Hist.) One of a board of seven men associated in some office.

Well, thanks to all for the feedback! I'm especially glad the septa, septum, septem issue has been resolved. :)
@Igor: Good question...I don't know why I included the Shadow and not the Valk....
@Strijdje: I thought you liked your women to be a little...masculine :P
Seriously, I made her a bit of a strong-woman because she's using a Ribcracker, so I figured she'd have some big arms. In retrospect, since the crushing blow and enhanced damage is inherent in the weapon itself, she could have been just as deadly with little skinny stick arms :)
I guess I could have gone either way with that one.
I've already started my Wind Whisperer drawing. I'm trying to make him as frightening and deadly as he actually is.... It's nice to just draw one character again :lol:

grat as always, A2M! I lije especially the weerewolf, his eyes are so... savage! didn't like a lot the necro, his armor was a little strange when I looked at it. The pally was great, but that ribcracker s a little bizarre for a champion of the light. I blame Durf for NF using such unfitful weaponry!

Sure, I don't have a problem with that. As long as you don't try to pass it off as yours in an attempt to obtain fame or recognition, or money (unless you give me most of it), feel free to use it for your desktop.
In the case of the picture septumvariate would also work due to the line down the middle of the drawing. (Septum means a division between two cavities as in the septum of the nose which divides the nostrils)

Hey, all! Just wanted to pop a quick update in here....
I wasn't completely happy with the background from the first drawing, so I reworked it a bit. You may want to give this version a look as I think it turned out much better.
