i have a paid for copy of the game and expansion,i play the game on my internal network with my wife, there is much swopping of discs and its begging to become a pain in the behind to stop play and swop discs all the time can anyone recomend a "No cd hack"(presuming thats allowed on these boards).

Secondly during act5 my pc freeze's and then searches the disc during play, this happens on no other act,i am guessing that even tho i selected a Full install this didnt happen can anyone help with what i can do here as well please.

Finaly my expansion disc has a small crack on it,assuming i cannot get a no cd hack,if i was to buy another copy, would it work even tho my cdkey is from the origanal (cracked)disc(which by the way is still working but god knows how long for)

thanking you

I don't know any nocd-hacks but they're out there probably. What I did was making an 'image' of my cd with Nero and open that with a program called Deamon Tools. That's a free download. Works fine for me.

Act5 is a pain, it will always freeze a bit, even with my 2,8ghz 1024 mb pc. On battlenet it's worse than SP I think.

I used to have that problem with Act V. Awfully slow load times but I mounted an image of the Expansion Disk on my HDD. Now it works wonders. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. I did pay for the game and all. I'm not making a copy for commercial use :)

Greetings.

We're glad to help you out, but please remember that discussion of any hacks is prohibited on these boards. All we can tell you is that they likely exist, and Google will give you more help than we can.

As for your other problems, it looks like you'll have to buy a new CD anyway. If the disk is cracked, that may be causing your freeze problem, though as Baboon stated, Act V is screwy and freezy anyway. And yes, the new disc will work with the old CD key...in Single Player, at least. Not sure about Battle.net. Hope this helps.
