Wyrmhide available when?

Hi All,

The durabililty's getting a bit low on my L73 sorcs ethereal armour, so its time to find something new.

I was thinking of gambling for some wyrmhide armour (as it fits my strength atm). But what level can I start gambling for it? Anyone know?
So far, Ive gambled the normal and exceptional versions, but not the elite yet...

Wyrmhide is qlvl 67 so you can gamble it starting from lvl 62. The chance to get elites in gabling is only 1/30. Personally, I don't think that gambling is the best way to get a wyrmhide armor. Better go out and slaughter some monsters. Sooner or later a decent armor willl drop.

Rare armours are usually not very good, so I'd say you better spend your money on amulets, rings, circlets or if you need resistances, on gloves, belts or boots.

If you want a decent armour, you could make a nice Stealth (tal-eth) armour for your sorcy. Or a smoke (nef-lum iirc).

1/30..... not good odds at all.

I'm just looking for armour that has a decent defence rating (my current armour has no resists at all). Better than running naked!

You probably have to gamble a hard leather armor and then hope for a wyrmhide. Probably act 5 NM onwards. Another cheap alternative would be to find a 3 soc armor and add the Ral/Ort from the barb quest then maybe add a thul that i'm sure you will be able to find along the way.
