Splendor rune word?

This rune word looks very nice, but I don't see it mentioned often in the guides.

Is it active, and do people use it? It's not quite as defensive as sanctuary, but it's got +1 to all skills and MF.

Regenerate Mana 15%
50% Extra Gold From Monsters

I think most ppl go with Rhyme ... Rhyme has ...
Better blocking
+25 to resistances
Better magic find
and the popular...cannot be frozen

Rhyme doesn't give you the:
+1 skills
light radius <--- most ppl would consider worthless
Increased Durability <--- whippe do..
10% Faster Cast <--- if it gets you past the next breakpoint it's good... if it doesn't it's of no value
60-100% enhanced defense <---- this is very nice...

All in all... I wouldn't say Rhyme wins hands down... +skills and faster cast are very sexy... but Rhyme with resists, can't be frozen, and better blocking is also sexy.

Oh, one more note...
The following Rune Words will only work on the Battle.net Realms.
Splendor falls into this category and Rhyme does not... so some ppl dont have a choice.

Why not find a 2 os shield and an eth and lum rune and find out? Easier said than done no doubt, but if you do it and it works, well, you got yourself a nice shield and your question answered.

Two birds with one stone i'd say.

I don't have a lum rune yet, and they're pretty expensive to just be using in experiments. And it's one of the ones you can't test SP.

it does work i have it on us west ladder, but like someone else said, its only for realms (not sure if its only ladder, but i know its only realms).

Beat me to it lol. Yes i've got one on USWest ladder too.

This shield is mostly used in 2 socket necro only shields which have +3 to bone spirit and spear, giving +4 to both AND some nice fcr.

Personally though I'd take a +1 skills on my mfing sorc over 5% mf any day.
