Best Merc for Pheonix Strike

Should I use the default all around Merc Holy Freeze or should I use Blessed Aim for free extra AR in Hell :scratch: ???? All informative input welcome

I think that it is better for you to hire Act5 mercenary (Barbarian).
He can help you solve the problem of too many monsters.

I myself would go with the holy freeze merc. The slow down of all the monsters helps when your charging up, and I tend to have problems keeping the blessed aim merc alive. Just my personal experience. Good luck.

What gear are you planning on using, and what skill points? If you're going with Blades of Ice, a HF merc will be pointless. Barbarians don't do anything that Act2 mercs can't do.

My first inclination would be to say Blessed Aim, but I'd like to hear your gear first.

Sky, barbs work VERY well with trappers though. It doesn't apply here for PS, but I will never use another a2 merc with a trapper. Because Barbs are kamikaze's and their stun/bash stops monsters, it makes my life easier. For some reason monsters seem to ignore my merc poking away at them and always run right to me.

hmmmm, I will consider Act V Barb's. My main setup will be PS, CT, FF Max. I havent decided on gear yet.

A HF merc would be the most practical choice, unless your AR sucks. The Barbs are alright, but I'd only use them with this build to be different.
