is fade bugged? -- it seems that the lower curse duration also lowers the duration of shrines that you hit
about claw block -- if you are running, do you still get the same blocking penalty that shield users do?

Yes the game treats shrines as curses. Or vice versa, so if u are using fade all shrines last longer. Just take off fade when u want a shrine, and put it back on, IIRC fade does not affect "curses" that are applied to u before fade is cast.
As far as the wb question, I have seen it debated many times, and although I have never seen a definitive answer, I believe the answer is yes, claw block receives the running penalty.

im pretty sure it drops to 0 or something very low
Shrines are useless anyway. You can't go 2 minutes in hell diff without getting cursed.

Sure you can. Act 1 till 3 doesn't have cursed monsters all over the place you know. Act4 is a different story though.

It works fine for that aswell.

I'd say that that's the rumor. Claw Block only works when standing still or attacking. Desynch makes bnet a horrible place to verify what is true.

That was my point in my first response, I have seen it debated both ways from very knowledgable people. I have yet to see a 100% verifyable answer. From my own personally experience I say it doesnt work, but that does in no way mean I am correct.
Ritslev where are you getting your information from?

Several places...
First.. An old thread here that was made (which I can't seem to find) took this subject up .. and debated it and a ton of people tested it.
Raph and myself tested it as well and our conclusion was the same as everyone in the forum reading this thread and testing it...
Claw Block works.
Just like the rumor about the damage of the WoI is bugged is wrong too..

I remember seeing a post by Ruvanal in the Statistics forum where he said that if player mode is "run" then the whole Weapon Block check is skipped entirely. I'm not 100% sure, though.
Edit: Here's the link for Weapon Block discussion where Ruvanal's explanation is (http://forums.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=187904)
Adeyke from the Amazon Basin tested it by modding his Weapon Block skill to give him 300% chance to block. While he was standing still he was immune to attacks, but everytime he moved he immediately got hit. I'm not allowed post a link to his post in the Amazon Basin, but you can go and read it yourself.
Claw Block works.
Well sure it "works", but I dont think it can be stated so simply.
If one thing can be said about this skill: only put one point into claw block and let your +items handle the rest. :)

If WB works at all while moving, it's so rarely that it's hardly worth discussing. I wrote this last week to summarize my experiences in the months since the Ruvanal/adeyke/WB thread:
Since those tests were done, I have yet to get even a single definitive WB while moving. As usual, I've played almost nothing but dual-claw PvM Martial Artists in that time. The two questionable occurences happened on Realms when I was having desync issues. I say questionable, because it looked like I may have taken damage despite the "tink" sound--although I'm not totally sure in either case. Not even a hint of mobile WBs in SP, although desync is still apparently possible in that mode.
I have heard that mobile WBs happen vs a few specific player effects, but I have no idea if that's true or not.
I have also done some more dedicated testing in that time, and I know a few people like Wildjinn who have come to the same conclusion. In fact, it's become a commonly accepted fact that WB does not work while moving, everywhere but here. So wake up, stop quoting guides from 1.09, and look at your computer screens. It won't take long for you to see what I'm talking about.
