I created a Major Vitality trapsin currently clvl 72 that so far uses no dex or str. I think it's easily possible for me to use my gear (even trap claws) without these stats, will I pop?

Yes, and not just charms for the bonus, I will be using for instance raven frost* for dexterity, and breast plate enigma* for str. So can anyone tell me if I'll be popping once a die, she is 100% PvP so I will be proabably be dieing eventually :uhhuh: .
-Mook If you need more info of my gear setup I can tell just worried that I will pop all this gear that has taken me forver to recieve.

This isn't always true.

ontopic.
The only way to make sure you won't pop is either:
1) Not to use any +str / dex from your weapon / shield slots.
2) If you do use str / dex from weapon / shield slots , make sure you have the same str / dex on your weapon switch aswell.

Example.
You have 70 base str. With 2 * ethereal bartucs (69 str req) you get 110 str. WIth 110 str you can equip Thundergods. On your weapon switch you have Call to arms and lidless to prebuff BO. If you die while holding CTA and lidless , you can't pick up your entire body , because the CTA + lidless switch doesn't give you 110 str.

Also , blizzard made it so that you can get 8 or 16 bodies , so you won't pop , even if the scenario in the example would occur. You would loose equipment if you have more then 1 body in a game and you leave that game. DII only keeps 1 body saved , and that's the one with the items that are worth the most gold.

Ok lunatic thanks,
I suppose my final question is- Would it be smarter to just throw some pts into dex keep in mind I want as much vita as possible, or do you think all vita is fine?

If you use 2 claws get dex up to a point you're be able to pick up your whole equipment when you die. Same goes for str. After that put all points in vita. About the right str / dex , read my post above. :D

I'm always constantly worrying about popping, so here's what I do.

My trapsin uses an Anni that gives me 17 to all attributes. This brings my strength up 37, and my strength will be at that even if I don't have my body. Then, I use GSpur boots, which give 19 to strength. So, when I pick up my body, I can wear the boots, which brings me to 56 strength, which gives me just enough strength to wear my mage plate Enigma, which gives me enough strength to use everything else.

As far as claws go, my suggestion would be to get an Anni, and boots that give dexterity (SSpurs come to mind), so with the strength you have then, you can use other equipment which give bonuses to dexterity (Shako, Mara's, etc.). Figure out how much strength/dexterity you would have with that setup, and add to the base until the requirements are made up for.

It seems like the game automatically tries out the setup in different orders, so for me, I couldn't wear my Enigma, and then wear the GSpurs, I have to put the boots on first, and then put on the Enigma. So as long as you have an Anni which lets you put one thing on that gives you bonuses, you should be fine.

Actually with all gear on I have not popped, and I am very pleased that it's possible to have 0 dex and 0 str and an all Vitality trapsin. So far shes lvl 74 has 1610 life w/o bo, and does 8.5k-9k (Not fully synergized) :D.

And if your really paranoid, just exit and rejoin everytime you die.
