I don't even have a char past hell diablo yet but I was wondering for just making plain skillers is their a better place with better chance to make skillers than others?

Well, the GC's with exactly the right ilvl to make them give you a slight edge on making more of them (AS says level 50, but I think it may be 56), but there aren't many prefixes over level 50, so you may as well get a GC from as high a level as you can. You never know when you'll roll a skill charm with a really great 2nd mod.

The earliest in the game that they drop is NM Flayer Jungle. NM Cows is an easy place to get them too.

The best places to get GC's for skillers is the flayer jungle, and great marsh of nightmare. The reason is these charms have only a limited number of possible mods to choose from, so there's actually a higher chance of getting +1 to a skill.

I've made 5 so far, and it only took me about 20 tries total.

Now if you want skillers with a 2nd mod (such as life), then thats a different stroy. As mentioned before, hell baal is probably a good bet for those.

Personally I would not try to re-roll for plain/naked skillers (I think this is what your asking). As previously suggested it is quicker to hunt for these in Flayer Jungle NM - cows is also an option depending on your build.

i would try to re-roll for plain/naked skillers if it starts out as something other than +skills. the way i try to get skillers is passively collect the gems (flawless+). when i get enough, i use them. it may not be worth spending time looking for the gems or trading to get the gems, but its definitely worth it if you just happen accross the gems.

i just wish i could say my luck has been as good as 5 in 20. (it evens out, i played poker last night and in the course of one game i got 4 full houses, 3 three of kinds, 1 four of kind, 4 straights, and a few two pairs. one of the straights was 1 card from being a royal flush.)

Remember a baal gc might be worth more then a bad skiller, sometimes I keep cubing bad skillers till a better one rolls.

Reroll of +40life skillers is either baal, diablo or nihlathak.
Plain skillers like mentioned cows or act3 nm:)
But just to let u all know dia gc's are just as good as baal gc's;)
