Wirt's Leg Sillyness

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I haven't seen anything about it.

Since wirts's leg can be imbued, you can get a rare wirt's leg. Can you then use the rare weapon upgrade recipe and get an upgraded wirt's leg?

I'm guessing not, but am somewhat curious about it.

You can upgrade a Wirt's Leg, but I believe its graphic in game changes to that of a one handed axe of some type, it still retains the name though.

Yes, it can be upgraded, but the effect sucks. Upgrading it will render it into a simple handaxe.

Too bad the game doesn't make a moo moo farm full of boss cows when you use an elite leg :-) Champion cows for an exceptional leg, of course.

I wonder what wirt's leg's ilvl would be. :scratch:

Imagine if you imbued it and it came out with these mods:
450% ED
+250 AR
2 sockets
40% IAS
9% life leech
5% chance to cast amp on striking

Imagine how cool it would be to own someone in pvp and then show them that they got beat by a wirt's leg. :lol: :drool:

I actually really want to know the ilvl, now.

I imbued three last night, and am pretty sure the best one had a Fool's prefix. Not sure what that tells you, but still, it's something to start from.

Tristam is area level 76. The leg comes from a prop, so it should be ilvl 76.
