Versions ?

I have 1.10 expansion on my laptop which has been there awhile. I had to format my big PC and have reloaded D2X version 1.10 . When the screen comes up it says version 1.10s . Also I do not have online option. It seems like its different than whats on my laptop. I am trying to get a TCP/IP game so I can get good items off of the laptop but it wont load. Are these 2 different versions? Is that why they wont connect? Thanx for any responses

Sorry, but I don't understand your problem so my reply might not help much

1.10 should be the latest patch

1.10s is the beta patch, AFAIK

If you want 1.10 on the computer without an internet connection, you could save the patch into a floppy disc

I screwed up and downloaded the beta on my PC. Can I get the real version without losing my character?

I've never heard of anyone losing their characters while upgrading patches, but if you want to be extra safe, you could always copy the character file(s)

My character files are in:
My computer > C: > Program files > Diablo II > Save

Yours might not be the same, though

You could always search your computer for the character name - That should get you to the character files
