View Full Version : Best Possiblt Outfit.
Okay, I played Diablo 2 long, long ago. And I want to get back in the game, When I used to play,(Back in .08) things were alot different then they are now. I played a druid to 99, and was pretty damn good. My room-mate still plays and he can probabally get me anything I need to start a druid. I just wanted to ask the experts what the best possible complete outfit would be for a werewolf/fury druid. Price doesn't matter.
Thanks in advance - Jarlan.
Check the guide sticky. I think theres a good one in there somewhere.

120max/100life armor.
30 max stormshield
40/15 verdungos belt
08 gore riders
60/20 steelrends or bloodfists (i personally think 27 fhr is enough)
shael or 30 max upgraded jalals (again 27 fhr is faster than a bear with 86)
ccsoq, fcsoq, ffkoq, 3 40/15 Lo gris caddy.
metalgrid/highlords and 2 240+/20 ravens, or angelic ammy and 2 rings.
at 4 frame fury being frozen doesn't affect attack speed, just r/w.
1 annihilus and then like a slew of max/ar/life (3/20/20 or similar) charms.

The equipment inkanddagger listed is overkill for PvM, but very nice for PvP. For PvM try out the following:
Jalals
Highlords
CoH
A nice two-hander (tomb reaver, botd great poleaxe, ribcracker, etc.)
Verdungos
Ravenfrost/any other ring really, not a big deal
Gore riders
Draculs (this is considered BM in PvP, but you can use it in PvM if you don't feel like using feral)
This should work nicely, but if some of you other druids see that I made a mistake with some suggestions then please chime in.
Also, good luck and have fun. :D
Maybe things are alot different, But why a 2 hander?

well for pvm, you really won't need a shield, as it will be more a hindrance to you attacking than anything else (more time blocking is less time attacking). You aren't a paladin with massive defense. Always charge feral rage up and then fury, and you probobly won't ever die (maybe to IM)
For PvM, instead of gore riders, you can always go with goblin toes.
usually i strive for the most crushing blow I can get - guillaumes face, goblin toes, and a shaeled ribcracker should get you through the game with ease.

Get this weapon: Eth Glitched Robo Berserker Axe(Eth+Indestructable+6x40/15s). It's got like twice the damage of Griz Caddy and reached the last fury Breakpoint. I think only one of these exist on East NL, best as around for it in Palapk if you can afford it.

if one person had it, why would they sell it? and u need 95% or more on the weapon to have max speed. so 6 4015 wouldnt cut it. you would need to put 5 4015s and a shael in there. i pretty much to double of what the caddy does anyway, since i got like 72% ds. so 3.5k turns into 7k. and caddy has a huge min dmg so its avg dmg is alot higher than most weapons ppl think are superior to it (ccsoq, robo zerk). if you know the dmg on that weapon tho id like to know it so i can do some calculations. thanks.

Thanks for all the info, When I played, ITH axes were some of the best druid weps, And White rings just came out, At that point will all the hacking going around I decided to quit.
My old set-up was something like this
Chest - Arkaine's Valor, .08 40/15max socket
Head - .08 Vamp Gaze, 40/15ias socket
Belt - Perfect String of Ears
Rings - Ravenfrost, 6% dual leech ring.
Amulet - Highlords
Gloves - Lavagout or similiar (weak, I know)
Boots - Waterwalks
Wep - ITH Berserker axe
Shield - SS, 40/15 max socket
Would something similiar be any good, Besides the wep of course?

Well, for armor a .08 Valor is going to be hard to acquire, and doesn't measure up to the new runewords.
Same for helm, not to mention Jalal's or something like that might be better, since leech means very little now. And IAS in equipment has never benefited Wolf Druids.
Belt, sure, something like that.
For rings, Ravenfront is great, but as I said, leech is nullified.
Amulet, yeah, I like that.
Gloves I'm not sure one. Same with boots.
Weapon and shield, definitely changed to a two-hander for PvM.
Hope that helps. :)

Oh wait, you're doing PvM. I forgot. Leech is still good in PvM, but in PvP it got way reduced, so it isn't worth it any more really.
But for PvM, yes, leech is good.
