What would be good weapon to pair with Stormcaster shield?

i have a lvl. 62 werewolf druid that has an awesome stormcaster shield. i was wondering if there would be a good weapon i should pair with it. :spy: preferably with some good life steal. i need it.

Hmm, Stormcaster, eh? Can't say I remember the stats on that one. What was it again? I seem to think it has elemental damage bonuses on it, doesn't it? Or is that a different one? If it does have elemental damage, Baranar's Star or a similar weapon might do nicely alongside it, with a Shael in there for good Fury speed.

Otherwise, any good weapon will do, of course. Life steal more often comes from gear anyways. :) Good luck!

im lvl. 60 druid and the shield is stormCHASER not stormCASTER. here are the stats:
Defense 171
Block Rate 54%
4% chance of lvl 5 tornado
4% chance of lvl 6 blizzard
100% faster block rate
20% increased blocking
150 to attack rating
1-60 lightning damage
50% Lightning Resist
Half freeze duration

It is a stormchaser scutum and my current weapon is a fleshrender barbed club.

if you're really looking for massive elemental damage Tiamat's Rebuke is probably the better choice.

nontheless it doesn't really matter which weapon u use with that shield since elem-damage on it isn't really high enough to be worth boosting it. give nord's a try when you hit 68 for massive cold dmg.

I haven't seen on of these in over 2 years :)
If I were you, id socket it with an Eld rune if you want to get some decent blocking out of it. The block rate is sick on it. Even if you only hit 55% blocking you would be highly effective with 100% fastblock. I duno if wolves go past 100% fastblock in their needs. otherwise, if they do, 120% with a shael would be fun to see its effects.
Eld gives it 61% base blocking, which is decent for a shield. something to consider.
