What is better: 1946-3432 dmg with 72% deadly strike, or 2105-3733 dmg with 57% deadly strike? It’s the choice between goreriders or wartrav boots basically. this is with a 4 socket caddy btw with a Lo in it.

alright someones gonna have to break out the number crunchin, so ill do it.

now 50% deadly strike is a 50% chance of 100% more damage. Therefore you could say that 50% DS is like 50% more damage.

That being said lets look at some numbers

(1946-3432)x1.72= 3347-5903---------->72% DS
(2105-3733)x1.57= 3305-5861---------->57% DS

So my money's on the gore riders. You can get the str and vit elsewhere, but more DS is hard to come by, plus you get a bit of OW and CB too.

right i see your point...i dont need the str and the life difference isnt even noticable. thanks for crunchin the numbers.

I agree with Killfrenzy, Deadly Strike is harder to obtain than 10 vitality and strength. You can probably get the extra damage from charms or something too.

well the problem isnt the vit or str, i need niether, its the fact that im just losing 15% ds and gaining 300 extra dmg instead.

Like I said, the extra damage can be easily obtained through charms or something. Deadly strike is pretty hard to come by on items.

i know, im stacked with 32020s, im getting pretty much all the dmg i can get without sacrificing my gear

what do 08 gores look like? not soap..the other word, means crap starts with "sh" and ends in "it".
