KTA 7 will start tonight, and I'll be taking on a Rabid Druid. Since we'll be having a full group, I'm not particularly concerned with some problems a lone wolf might face...

Just wondering on whether the following looks remotely acceptable as a decent build.

My build currently looks like the following :
(Based on lvl 80 expectency... considering my previous character Brunhylde got Guardianship @ that level).

Skills
20 Rabies, Poison Creeper (Untwinked, so no Carrion wind for me)
5-8 Lycanthropy/Werewolf (probably around 8 including +skills, I think)
1 in Feral Rage (Prereq)
5 in Fury (so as to not be useless when I've bitten stuff )

Leaves some 35 points.
1 in Oaksage (possibly some more, but if we take another Druid, that would not be needed)
9 in Spirit of the Wolverine

Ravens : 1
Wolves : 1
Dire Wolves/Grizzly : Approx even mix

Excess points will probably go to Fury.

Stats
Basic planned : One hander, so
Approx 90-110 str
135 Dex (Phaseblade and decent blockrate)
Rest Vit

Look good enough ?

Eh it's alright.

I'd say rabies not the best to go untwinked but eh. I played one up to about 30 on hcl and it wasn't too bad, the killing was a bit slow solo. Then again if I can take an untwinked fire druid to lvl 50 it can obviously be done with rabies and a party.

I am planning to play a poisonmancer (maybe dagger, maybe Nova) in this party

Now, I heard (from our Druid, Aerath :) )that Rabies will overwrite any poison, while it cannot be overwriten by e.g my Poison Nova.

That sounds like those builds in one party would not help each other, actually be counterproductive.

Does anyone here have experiences with that?

Thanks for any tips :)

CE kills more than any skill in 8 player games. Just lower res and spam CE(only really need 1 point) while your buddies get you that first body. You could use the poison skills as a backup for when you solo.
