Howdy people, I've had this belt up on the Trade Values Forum for a couple of days trying to get a valuation on it. No luck yet so I thought I'd try someone who hangs here and see if you can tell me if its any good for PvP as I'm a bit n00bish with PvP.

Imp Buckle Battle Belt.
Def 68 (59%ed), lev req 34, str req 88.
+24% Fhr
+11 Str
+45 Life
+20 Mana
+28% Light Res

It's on Ladder btw. Is it worth keeping or shall I let Charsi Have it?

Thanks for any help

Damn. Shame I'm not ladder or I'd take it off your hands. Well, I suppose I can always wait for a reset. ^^

So you think its worth offering then.... great!!!

It's going up on Euro Ladder then...

Might take some NL stuff for it if you want to offer (if i get no good L offers) although I'd prefer Ladder ofc.

Thanks,
Knightfall

Oh it's euro ladder? Nevermind, I thought it was east.

It needs more strength to be really "godly" but yea it's a nice belt.

no fc=nt for casters. The only real good part would be the fhr. If that belt had 20fc it would be awesome(would have to be crafted I think). Not too bad if you can't afford a arach, or if you mid level duel.

Verdungos and tgods are so much better for melee and they are pretty cheap.

Too bad its not on classic. With no good unique belts, rares are the best in classic and that one would sell for a good amount.

Melee druids need that belt. Verdungo gives what, 80 life? That belt gives about 200 on a shapeshifted druid, and then i'm not even talking about the other useful mods. You'd have to sacrifice one socket for that belt to make verdungo look ridiculous. Aka enigma/CoH/Ber'd armor + storm + 1 ber = max DR.

Tgods is only useful for the lightning absorb, other than that it's just 40 stats resulting in about 200 life this time. Still not the other mods that rare belt has or an even better one could have.

That belt is amazing for a level 34 req, specially on ladder. that's all i gotta say.

Most people don't have bers to throw around. Particularly on ladder. I would rather take the verdungos and socket something more useful(and less expensive) in my other gear. Thats just me though.

bleh i still take a verdungo over that. And if u want the extra life a Prubie in helm has almost same effect irc.

i think you could get better crafted blood belts, thay have ow and ll and can spawn with 80 life

Crafted does have a higher requirement though. Since the main value would be to a lld/mld.... Like I said shame it isn't east, or I'd get it and wait for reset.

lld/mld have that much str? I thought they always went for a ton of life. Guess it depends on the build. What char would you use it on?

My level 45 pally has about 170 str and still has max block and high life.

+24% Fhr
+11 Str
+45 Life
+20 Mana
+28% Light Res

Is a lot better than the ik belt im currently using for the 25 fhr (3 items) IMO.

Whatever works for ya, but I really can't imagine having that much str at lvl 45. Seems a bit of a waste to me, but then, I dont lld or mld so I dunno.

Anyway...

The belt is worth keeping for sure. 88 str req is not steep for a lvl 34 melee char. Even lvl 27s can have that much str rather easily as pretty much any decent 'honor' weapon will have at least that much str req if not more. Many lvl 29 barbs/zealots/druid use nagas, and they have around 120 str req.

Obviously this belt is not ideal for a lot of characters, but for some LLD/MLD builds and maybe some HLD builds, it is very nice.

For instance, I use the following legit .07 or so belt on my lvl 30 necro:

I get my FCR from my wand (20), vipermagi (30), magefists (20), and ammy (10). So basically all my FCR bases are covered, and I just want to get as many useful stats as I can on my belt so I can use my stats/charm space for more important things.

That's a fair point, I admit. Only rare/crafted belts for the rich then. Or if you're playing vs. casters where you don't need the DR.
