I can't seem to find these 2 items and it's becoming very frustrating!!! Death's Touch I find at least once every day it seems.

I used the Item Drop and Monster Drop Calculators from diabloii.net (http://stats.diabloii.net/calcs/TC/frameset.shtml) and they show that in an 8 players game with about 300 MF that the Normal Act I Super Unique Monsters Bishibosh, Bonebreaker, Corpsefire and Coldcrow are most likely (with the exception of The Cow King) to drop these items, about a 1% chance. I must have spent close to 24 hours doing runs between these monsters with no success.

Does anyone know a better place or to score these items? Or did I screw up with the Item and Monster Drop Calcs? I would much appreciate the help.

Run normal andy. A lot. Public "Tristram" games are recommended.

(Alternatively make a D2C character and do the same :) Easier to find since there is much less variety of items - no runes/jewels/charms for example)

You can always try trading for them...

Pretty sure I got the Sash from normal Cow King. Killed him by accident one day... Not like it really matters now... *L*

Thanks for the replies all.

TJTG, I'm a bit of a newbie so I don't really know what you mean with a public "Tristram" game nor what a D2C character is. At the moment I'm SP only.

Keaton, I have looked into trading but I'd prefer finding the items myself. I may go the trading route soon though, since I'm starting to get rather frustrated .

BlackWinterDay, what do you mean it doesn't matter anymore about killing The Cow King? I've read that if you kill him you won't be able to go into the cow level again with that character at that difficulty level.

Well number one, there is zero reason for me to go back to killing normal cows when my Meteorb sorc is lvl 91 and can handle multi-player hell cows with ease.

And number two, I always try to make sure I have a couple of characters around who can open the cow portals on all difficulty levels. Some characters I just don't cow with. So I bring them in to open the portal, and then exit the game with them. Then I kill the King to my heart's content. This can be done with multiple copies of the game, or by making a game and perming it so you can exit and come back in with another character.

Thanks for the info BlackWinterDay. I may try perming a game one of these days and then trying The Cow King. Of course I would first need a 2nd character who's finished Normal difficulty. All I have now is a 84th lvl meteorb (I said I was a bit of a newbie :)). The reason I want the Death's items is for twinking my next character with.

Thanks for the offer FrozenSolid. If I don't find the items soon I may take you up on it.

A little update on cows: the cow "quest" works differently than all the other quests; you can leave the opener in the game IF you have killed the king before: credit for killing the king is given to ALL players (in the game, A1, cow level --- I don't remember for sure) ONLY if the killer did not kill the king before ("first kill" rule).

So, I open the portal myself, kill the king, and never have to worry about that again.

This also means I can safely ignore the "no king plz" crap in public games.

Ummm, isn't SP single player? How do you trade for stuff or even go on to Bnet (unless it's open, right? :surprise: )

Found both sash and glove in normal games. One off Meph and one off A2 Maggot Lair Coldburrow... or something like that... anyway, it's that huge immune to cold wormy in lvl3).

Yes, with SP I mean single player and as far as trading goes I've never done it before but like you said I think it can be done on open Bnet or a TCP/IP game.

And thanks for the Meph and Coldburrow suggestions, I may just give those a try.
