I'm making a fury WW & planning on using IK maul eventually. I have most of my gear picked out (with the exception of my armor) and with it I'm going to have 65 points in str. from equipment.

Anyway, since I'm using a 2h weapon, I was planning on getting str where it needs to be (around 150-160) and dumping all the rest in vit. If I do that, would it be wiser of me to go for HoW instead, or should I stick with Oak Sage?

It's a matter of preference really since you shouldn't really have trouble with AR and dmg. The boost from HoW isn't too big, which is why most decide to use oak sage. The boost of life from oak sage is very helpful for both PvM and PvP. So basically I'm saying I would pick oak sage.

Personally I would go for Oak Sage and then pump strength, since you're going to have it fairly high anyways. Your Vitality investment will not be all that large, and since you're using Oak Sage, your life should be fine anyways, so you'll get more bonus from damage from Strength points. Plus it could help you leech more, so if you have a decent percentage of LL you'll get life from damage anyways.

So Oak/Str is my vote.

*nod* My main reason for considering HoW is because I'm ignoring Dex altogether, so I wasn't sure how that would affect my AR. I have about 15 more points to go in str before it's capped (160) so I'll start working on vit @ around lvl 37 and hopefully that should be alright.

HoW is handy for damage and attack rating, but max werewolf should take care of that. Oak is usually the favorite, but sometimes I like to just go all strenght all HoW, or all vita all oak. It's better to be the master at one thing than mediocre at a lot of things.

In 09 I had a 08 valor/base vit fury...it was okay t_t but eh.

Druids get quite the life bonus counting oak and lycan and I like it.

If you have a good weapon you really don't need HoW...and if you don't have a good weapon it won't add to much cuz your base damage is low.

I guess I'm just an oak person.

Like I said, either go the all damage or all life route.
