Have posted a question on the amazon forum but am getting conflicting views. So for the hardcore guys: what type build would work well for an amazon using the unique Buriza? Multi/Frozen Arrow? FA/Strafe?
Thanks for your replies.

Bow wielding amazons are not dead. Mostly they are TPPKers or new people who havn't realised the sick power of the javalin skill tree. That is a gross over-exaggeration of course, but you get the idea. A lot of people still play bows actually, just to get back on key here. Their are a lot of new ways to do it, without going the old routes.
For starters, a buriza-cannoness can still be a multi-arrow monster machine. She can definately do well with the elemental synergy skills--cold being the obvious choice to match the buriza's already high damage output.
Strafe is out of the question, because all x-bows are just too slow for strafe to be good. The buriza is no fun with strafe either, believe me I've tried. It's much more fun with a faster bow, with less damage. Otherwise, you just sit and count the bolts slowly.
Other things to consider with your buriza, are skills like a pure guided zon--but good luck keeping players to play with you, as they'll assume you're a TPPK amazon. But, I would suggest a Magic Arrow build. They are hella-fun and with an already high damage bow, your Magic damage % will be at a good place.
Overall, the most powerful way to go would be the frozen arrow/pierce route with the cannon. But my vote goes to the magic arrow, for the fun factor ;)

there are many bowazons out there, among which many can be augmented for playing in HC. However, without further, more specific information, there is no way telling you which your option is best to you. In a way, all three options you mentioned can be as bad as good.
Just take strafe and buri for an example: you can strafe with a buri. On some occasions, a strafazon may want to switch to a buri for its cold damage and starfe-kill widely scattered targets that are immune to the amzon's more dedicated strafe-bow. Without further, more specific information, nothing is bad or good.

I haven't used the burrito since 1.09 but I am currently playing a hybrid strafe/FA/LF/CS zon. I'm using full mavs set which makes the strafe damage kind of suck, but Mavs is really nice for the FA part. When things get to hairy a quick switch to the javs has kept me safe. From what I've seen though I think Multi is pretty much useless in terms of damage and never bothered using it on this zon, only 1 pt into it as it was a pre-req. All in all, I really like the Strafe/FA combo because not only does it give my merc and valk a chance to do some killing, but it also allows me to deal with whatever else might be sneaking up on me.

For a LF-based hybrid Javazon, one of the following bows skills makes good sense:
- FA (max'ed) and/or Strafe (1,6, or 10+ skills) - given a very fast, decent bow.
- GA (1+) and/or Strafe (1,6, or 10+ skills) and/or FA (max'ed or not doesn't matter here) - given a bow/x-bow that deals out good enough elemental damage, like buri
- FA or GA or both - given a high-damage bow like Windforce.
Multishots (10+ skill level with items) is good for a dedicated bowazon who uses a high-damage bow.
Strafe (10+ skill level with items) is nice for a mavinas set-based dedicated bowazon.
Last note: the above is true only in a general sense. To a specific build, many things may be factored in determining which option is best or worst. Also, all bow skills have their merits.
