It is always lovely to see the illegit pieces of .... get the rewards!
Funny thing is the poor SoB died like I dont know how many times last season. Wonder what other progs he was using? Maybe he was playing SC all along.............there are many rumors, or maybe it was just 1337 leeching skillz.
Either way, it was all pathetic......hope the SoB didnt register his acct!

Stinger - wouldn't matter... 3 peps on SC EAST - got 99 1st... so the 1st 99 on EAST SC got the "prize"
so Pure, only gets braggin rights... since there's only 1 prize per realm - they dont discern between sc or hc...

Cheating is not that bad, they just have great advantages leveling, dueling, MFing, trading, PKing, findind Uber Diablo (in fact they make it), surviving in hardcore and getting Blizzard's rewards!
Blizzard has always made it clear the cheaters must get the rewards, and they gotta be great :thumbsup:

Pure wouldn't of even gotten a prize if he got 99. He has openly admitted on not registering his account, so therefore, wouldn't have mattered if he was 99 before anyone on sc.

I've heard that Pure used chicken hostile (not sure about life), pindlebot, and like the next 20 or so people below him on the ladder, I can assume he used Maphack. However, I care a lot more about how much of an idiot he is than the hacks he uses.

Pure doesn't annoy me so much.
The person on the ladder I want dead right now is Lusted.
Can't stand him.
Mind you last time I played with Pure was like December, so maybe he's changed...wouldn't surprise me, but back then he didn't annoy me any more than any other MHer on b.net.

Wanna hear something sad? I was in op pure.warrior (pures chan obviously) when he reached 99 just to make fun of him after. When he hit 99, he was giving a speech thanking everyone that helped him!!!!! a speech over d2!
I can assure you all that Pure uses chicken hostile, chicken life and maphack. He told me he did. And I if anyone knows a good therapist can they forward his name onto pure, the guy is totally wacked.

We are "10 yr olds" becasue we dont liek the fact that somoen basically played SOFTCORE to be the first 99 on the HARDCORE ladder, botted his was to the best gear while he slept and lvled while awake and probably was botting while he was lvling?

It was never my intention to make it a priority to listen or play with him, however I ran into him a couple times Season 1 and once on Season 2. You've obviously never met him, thats all im gonna say. Try rereading my post. In no way did I support Pure or his methods. I in fact don't! (read, comprehend, react)
When I first happened upon this forum, I found that the majority of postings/threads were positive community based efforts that provided helpful information for individuals playing Daiblo HC (classic,xpac, whatever). Over the last few months, I'm finding that the trend has shifted to complaining about hacks, complaining about Blizzard, complaining about this, complaining about that.
I have a very healthy respect for your knowledge of the game. I have had the pleasure of playing briefly with you during Bird's Asia challenge (enjoyed that as well). I applaud your efforts (via the polls) to identify botters and cheats. Yet, at the same time I am astounded by the number of times you need to blow off steam.
If the purpose of the response was to give yourself and others another opportunity to complain, you succeeded. It just doesn't seem very useful or constructive (IMO). It reminds me of couples groping one-another in very public places. I'm left thinking someone needs to tell them to "find a room" (which i have done). My response was in a similar vein. One solution would be the creation of The Diablo Complaining Forum - for the moaning of all.

This makes 2 of you who have successfully misinterpreted my post. I would be interested to know how I am supporting Pure and his actions "sticking up for him" as you say. Help me out. Be specific. Use quotes. Make a cogent arguement.
Stinger at least pointed out my own hypocrisy. I in fact indulged in a little complaining at my own expense, but I knew I was doing it. It was a conscious effort on my part. You have the ability to decide not to engage with Pure, play with Pure, etc (amazing what the squelch button can do). My post simply pointed this option out. You are not forced to play with Pure. Nor are you forced to listen to Pure. If you do so, and you know how to prevent this from happening then shame on you. I did not support his playing style, nor the means by which he plays. Again, reread my post, let it sink in, then think about your reply. It's that whole think before you speak thing.

If you dont like a certain thread posting in it ONLY pushes it back to the top to be read more and replied to more, so i suggest you just stay out of topics you dont like or live with it.

Stinger I think its just become a waste of time now on these forums when it comes to people using hacks and other 3rd party programs. The sad and simple truth is more and more people are growing to accept it as a part of there playing style, when in reality they really don't have to. These forums are going downhill. There are still quite a few true blue 100% LEGIT players on these forums. But the problem isn't finding them, its finding the ones who haven't broken down and accepted people who hack as "just part of the game" and who blindly make excuses for them it seems. Its very depressing, now whenever someone is upset that someone uses hacks and other 3rd party programs to get #1 if they make one or two comments about the person there automatically labeled whiney and told to deal with it. Cougar and whoever else feels like sticking up for botters like Pure go right on ahead. Just know though that whether you realize it or not, all your doing is helping the dismantling of D2, brick by brick. You've accepted hacks in the game, and now your defending people who use them. Congratulations.
Oh and just a follow up for those of you who claim to not be sticking up for botters: Just what is it your doing then? Why exactly is it you feel the need to take up the side of the botters/hack users in this arguement, when you clearly could of remained neutral?

We must be reading posts from different threads. I just read through all the posts in this thread and only saw one or two that might be construed (if you stretched quite a bit) as pro-Pure/pro-hack,bot,cheat.
Stinger first and you second accused me (and now your making more blanket statements condemning others) of supporting the great pile of trash known as PURE. I have since made statements clarifying my position concerning PURE and hacking, cheating, botting (perhaps you failed to read them). IMO since you were one of the first to throw stones, you are responsible for defending your accusations. YOU have accused us of supporting PURE, etc. We have not supported these statements. I ask again.
What has led you to believe that we are being supportive of PURE, hacks, bots, cheats, etc, etc.

Most threads are pretty clear on what they are about. If it doesn't interest you or is just too much same old then just pass on by.
There are enough threads here to find something of interest or start your own thread on something that interests you about the game, a build, a question, a find..something OT you want to share. I think the best way to keep this forum semi-vibrant is to take a chance and start a thread and not just poop on someone elses thread that you find redundant...it may not be to everyone.
