This was mentioned in some other threads. Garb still has mod powers, but I think he's taking a break, so they temp demodded him? Still not sure on the whole story.

So, yeah, its a waiting game, but then again, apart from the administrative work we never really needed a mod, or so I do remember. I also recall the no-OT agreement, that was before we had Garbad as a mod. Might have been on one of the older forums. Its been three years since I arrived here, I dunno. I remember Garbaddie having like 10 posts ^_^.
Oh, and if you say LEARN to SPELL, then BE PREPARED TO BE EATEN!

BTW, Baranor mispelled a little word in another thread and just typed "in" instead of "im". All just little mistakes, I was just teasing him. =P

If we get a new mod I just hope it's a fellow druid that is respected. But who knows maybe Garb will be back. :D

Garbad and DK are my fave mods around here, not to offend any others... Aragorn is a great guy as well too, the others, I dont frequent enough to know.
Oh Halciet = Rocks, but that's cause I knew he should have been mod for the longest time.
Naliworld answers alot of sin questions, at least when I was used to frequent it.
So we need someone (thing) amiable like the rest of the mods. Garbad filled the hole, but we dont know why he is now being removed from it. Knowledge is power, and we are certainly lacking in both...

Roaming around the forums here and there is fine and answering questions ever so often is no problem, but reading every thread and fixing problems and small tifs that are about nothing in particular just eats your time. I don't recall exactly but I was about to accept a nomination one time or another but that's when Larys came along and I couldn't make time anymore.
I think being a regular poster is a more settling job. With a lot of regulars the forums just moderate themselves. Sadly that does mean that you have to put in some room for OT threads or otherwise people just create OT threads from normal ones. There's been a time when both the druid and amazon forum were run like that with good aid and massive OT, much more than in the other forums. Afterwards when the amazon regulars left it was druid and paladin very shortly (until pvp threads ripped such unions apart later on). Nowadays... I think a lot of druids care more for OT than for the game itself.
Oh yes, and I remember you having 10 posts Barry :p. That was when we both joined at about the same time. ;)

You are correct on that, Kirsty. I doubt many here still play D2 daily, but of course that doesn't mean they've lost all knowledge of the game. Almost all questions are answered in this forum and that's why I love it. :D

No, I'm not leaving I just got demodded and people are getting all worked up with the usual druid forum drama. I will bet money no mod will be appointed and DEFINATELY not one of you guys.
I don't know if Elly intended me to moderate some things or not anymore, but I hereby divest myself of that power if she did. I'm not gonna even bother checking the reports or seeing if I have the power to ban. Someone else can worry about it. I will sticky stuff tho and having a sig owns (my noob of the day quote will never die hopefully).

Yes. Interestingly, I can still bypass other mods actions and see what they did. I might not have any limitations at all other than I'm not supposed to do it anymore.
