ok, seems like my last thread got locked cause I was sleeping :sleep: (mod giving me 5 hours of time to change the rules before closing it)..

I thought I would see if someone still was interested in the competition ( to get highest possible cost of "repair all items" button) but the mods apparently did not approve of me letting somone use an editor for this even though this is for purposes of researching how far we could get a number only :scratch:


so this time the rules are not allowing people to use any kind of editor(maybe I can keep the thread now? :uhhuh: ), the highest cost of repair all items button wins, but I want to know which items you used and their individual cost of repair to see if someone can improve on at least 1 of those points and bump it even higher

Despite the fact that using an editor was for 'research' purposes, the practice is still shunned here in the SPF where editor manipulation of characters, games and items is not allowed.

If you do it on your own computer then fine, but you where asking this to be done en mass.

This competition is very easy to be won...simply make a runeword with +skills and charges IIRC in a superior item...happy hunting.

Thats right, and a glove through normal gameplay has no chance of being more costly than say a Silenced Superior Berserker Axe

yes, but if everyone has that axe, the one with the most expensive gloves win because this is the "repair all items" button cost, not the individual items costs.. I just want to have the idividual item costs to later add up the highest possible combination of items submitted

I don't think I am grasping your idea, and I must confess to not seeing the other thread, but I support all action taken by AE and Kremtok. Anyway, I am not going to take part in this, so no need to reply. :D

the point is and was to get the highest possible cost of the "repair all items" button.. the winner gets enough gold to cover the repairs and everyone gets to find out how far this forum can push the costs.

edit: this competition is mostly to see how far we can get the cost, another useless but fun to know fact

hmm not really. just get everything you can with charges and use them all up. if you are that obsessed with this just do it and let us know. personally ill just stick to ort's for expensive repairs :teeth:
