ok the deal is, i started with like 230% mf and got it now up to 305% and still i cant find ****, the best stuff ive found are 2x shako and 5%bk ring, tgod, now i think ive should have found more stuff, dont you ?
whats your % and how does it work for you ?
EDIT: ps. what should i put in my 2sock reaver on my barb ww ?
So shako is crap for you?
I've got 350ish and been mfing for awhile. Still havent found shako but Shaftstop, Storm, Arreats mask, Andariels visage and stuff like that. Some unique rings and amulets like natures peace and similar.
Just keep mfing, its more about where you mf now how much mf you have.... well, how much you have is still a bit important :)

MF is still based primarily on luck. MF improves the odds a bit but anything over 100 has diminshing returns especially on end boss drops. The first drop bug improves the odds even more by eliminating items such as arrows, pots and gold from the drop list. Seems like I always find items in bunches. When your hot, your hot and when your cold nothing drops worth keeping.

i do hell andy and meph and i do um under 3 mins, and when i log on i always mf, since i need items for my chars, that arent worth playing with some mid lvl stuff :), i only found 2x shako,tgod,wisp,razortail , thats worth keeping, strange
MF has been strange for me, when it is good it is just good, when it is bad its really bad, but your drops arent that terrible. How long have you been running? i have had a week+ of normals and always dropping exceptionals many times. Its all luck just keep going.

If you don't like shako and the BK ring, I'll take it off your hands...even though I deleted d2 off my comp last night, i'll put it back on just for that reason. :thumbsup:

I just started running Hell Meph using the 1st drop bug... I've done a total of maybe 30 or so runs....
my Barb BO's my sorc... she tele's around... currently have 320 MF / 445 on switch (I'll only switch in NM) my rez drops horridly...
Find's so far:
2x Bonehews
2x Waterwalks
Phaseblade
Viperskin
If my luck turns sour, I'll either try Hell Andy or go back to NM Meph, since he can still drop Skullders/ Vipers / HoZ, etc....

well ive been looging on for like 2 weeks now, and mfing for like 4 hoursat a time, and found these things.
well now that i think if it ..

Well, lets see, in all my DII career I found one Maras, and one Gaze and 3 Arreats, many shafts but not one yet this season, took me abotu 4 weeks to find my first viper then I got another one pretty quick, and never found a Whisp and I think I found maybe 4 TGods evre and (2) were ETH!!! This season i have Ravens falling everywhere i look where before I may had found like 3-4 ever. in liek a 3 day streatch i got 4 Shakos this season and that was pretty insane.
Last night i could of had i think 10 Uniq Claymore, and for the last week other than a Gheeds I havent found anything but Gem tradeable items. So, this tells me my luck is due to change pretty soon!
Its just all luck, the problem is you just havent found what you want. Hell i cant even get a Ribcracker to fall! It will change, change up your run, do some random bosses, or run Ancient Tunnels or something.....Try Fire Eye, he dropped me some good stuff thsi season!
Somebody is ALWAYS dropping, if the bosses arent then the uniques are and if not the random bosses are and if not that then the average monsters are, or some boss you arent running or cant!
yadda yadda luck yadda yadda ran hell meph 4 runs one gheeds charm and a gladiators bane yadda yadda luck I had 40% mf from my other bane... oohh and I found steelskull at a nice 46% too in those 4 runs and a cruel hydra edge of alcatracity (20% IAs).
yeah, mf sucks.

heh, obviusly, trang shield dropped few mins ago ... still looking ..
If your not first dropping meph then you should expect about 1 decent (Not great or godly) item in 15-20 runs seems the norm. First dropping meph = 1 item in 8-10 runs on average.
By the way I have ID'd alot of unique ammys this ladder and twice as many last ladder and I got 1 maras in each season so far (I did gamble one last season too though). Dont expect that to drop for you anytime soon and if it does consider yourself extremely lucky. I seem to get a Maneld and a Nokozan almost every Mf session. Skulders has been my main find item this season. I think Im at like 8 or 9 and counting and not complaining about it either.
Must be about luck...
I gambled a SoJ and a Mara last season.
But this season MFing Pit and Shenk/Eldrich has so far turned up only Aldurs boots, Trapskiller and a Skulders that dropped from an Archer next to Shenk. (was enough runs to lv from 85-86...)
Our KTA party found Tals Mask and Jade Talon just by questin..no MF at all I think. (and 5 white Shakos, hehe)

Well, I have ~200%, and have streaks of good, but mostly bad. The thing is, are you getting lots of uniques & rares that are crap (ie, getting digglers, etc)? All that means is you're unlucky for the moment, since the TC that you rolled is independent from your chance to get magic items. So, even with 1000% MF, you're still going to get your fair share of venom wards. Just the breaks, unless you're McSaladshaker. Then, the streets are paved with SSs. Kinda has to be that way, for the universal odds to work out. Somebody out there has to be offsetting my crappy luck...

I have 512 mf (on weapon switch)
This season ive found
6x shako
7?ish arachs
3x tals armor
2x ss (one i found with 7 mf)
Levi (Found this with zero mf while anti idling waiting for dclone)
2x tals ammys
9? gheeds(all below 31 Lol, I kept 1 for myself, gave the rest away)
2x shafts
3x occys
2x gfs
2x azurewraths
etc. etc. the list goes on
it's 1/2 luck, once i found shako/arach/gheeds in back to back to back meph runs. Ive also found ss and tals armor within 3 baal runs of each other.
A lot of this stuff was found before this realm down crap when i could do hell meph runs at ~40 seconds each (occasionally level 3 is in a bad spot)
Oh yea, I blame fathom for the unmephable items

meh, its all about patience i tell ya
if u have the stomach to do at least 200 meff runs a day, just like i did way back when, finding multiple ss and shakos and a big deal. like last season when i had a huge surplus of ss and shakos; i ended up giving too many away (4 shakos and 5 ss? something like that)
oh, and 42 mf when a random dOOd dropped a shako in a1hell (37 gheeds and 5 mf gc with str. gheeds dropped when i had 5 mf)

No offense, but Tal's Mask and Jade Talon are extremely common items...
Yes, but although common, they are still nice items. Tals Mask is the end-of-all, suitable for almost any build and offering huge advantages to pretty much all builds. Wheter you're a caster or melee, 15% res all, life and mana are good, and the ll and ml arent bad either. Although a fashion nono for most classes Tals Mask is the IDEAL cheap choice for lots of problems.
Actually, I'm only blabbering about Tals Mask, as I suck at sins ^_^
Ok i just read this and am LOLing. Why was i picked out =/ ive only found 2 ss
maybe it was the "McSaladshaker is god" graffiti I've seen spray-painted on the bridge into the Rogue Camp...
just ribbin' ya dude (mostly out of jealousy, you realize ;) ).
I remember the posts from early on in 1.10, it seemed like you were an anni-finding/DC killin' machine.

Oh yea beginning of season 1 was great, I could get like 3 annis per day, i had so much I was giving em to random people on this forums, and people were so confused.
Now, DC is hard to find
