I recently found/traded some nice enough gear witch all seemed to be ideal for 37~39 pvp barb.. so then i found eth headstriker, lvl 39 it is :)

heres my gear:
Guillenaume's Face with 28ed/xxdef/6str jewel
Eth headstriker with 28ed jewl
Shaft with 23ed/15ias jewel <- gosu
whitstans guard with 15ias jewel
ik combo (shoes,belt,gloves)
ring & amu: angelic combo+manald heal

so any suggestions for gear improvement? or strategies etc :)

Why do you use Manald? Only good mode for PvP is 20 life...

Try to find a better one or use dual Angelic rings :)

edit: I don't know much about mid-lvl duelling, but the rest looks nice to me.

need 48% ias for 11 and 75 for 10 frames.

Get an Artisans tower of deflecting instead of whistans (it looks like you can afford it). Put 3x ias jewels in it(with mods if you like) that gives you a total of 60+25 = 85 ias... 10 frame Gosu zerk. Then put spellsteel on switch. Decrep + tele + switch + zerk.

unless 1.10 added some sweet bonus with 3 piece of IK's i would use waterwalks instead of the boots

And It's quite a nice set up. The problem with it is that you need a bit more speed. Swap the ring and you're good to go, ATOD's help every melee-centric build....ect

i had like 1,8k if i remember right.. did ok vs other 38-39 barbs (witch were ALL using ethe yari and ww) but got bored caus i didnt get any ears. this was on europe hcl.

then i leveled the barb to 53 and started using ethe kingslayer bb.. but then got bored from it too and sold it. now im using eth balrog spear with 299% ed and dual leech.. still i get like 4,2k zerk =)
