low level duelin'

Just curious who is owning in PvP levels 9-29 that is)now a days. I've just recently comeback to the game and 1.09 was still goin' when I left.

What of the PK'ers too what are they usein'.

there are a few balance issues that were changed with the 1.10 patch.

1) mastery bugs no longer apply. Thus, barbarian masterys and assn claw mastery no longer get 100% chance of critical strike. This means you see less tiger strike assns and throw barbs (hardly see barbs in the LLD scene)

2) Synergies have changed a few skills at low level, mostly chargers. Now it's possible to get 1000+ total ED on a level 27 charger (due to the fact that each point in might adds 20% ED to the charge skill)

3) you might want to read baranor's PK guide, there are a lot of the current builds in there. Especially check out kicksin and charger, which accounts for 97% of all the pk's that you see out there.

4) TPPK still works. BEWARE! Guided arrow/multishot still works, but hydra and meteor and firewall do not. However, many skills that used to be underpowered now work very well, and can be used for TPPK. Examples: necro: Bone spirit, bone spear, teeth
druid: tornado, twister
sorceress: fireball, lightning, chain lightning, charged bolt, ice bolt, ice blast
ama: multishot, guided arrow
Plus: any class can use the unique bow 'widowmaker' which has +x to guided arrow. Thus any class is a potential tppker. so i would avoid contact with any and all druids, sorceresses, necromancers, amazons, paladins, asassins, and barbarians you see in public games.

Yeah.. steve covered it pretty well... some of us forum folk LLD a lot... me being one of them, though i dont have one at the moment.

Yep, check baranors guideish stickied post for most of the popular/effective builds.

Worst thing about 1.10 dueling is the chicken users.

Turns out that non-chickenhackers are the only one that can actually die these days if you're not using a 1-hit-wonder like a chargedin.

Main thing about pkers is the usual - lvl xx bonesnap or similar paladin picking on lvl x sorcs and necros, etc. And the pker will be using chicken of course.

Sad state of affairs it is.
