Jabbazon PK question

Decided to make one for fun (not that I'll complete her anytime soon anyway...) w/ basically shopped gear...

Most of the stuff is lvl 15 req. (i.e. Light plate of the tiger etc) as well as the Massive Pike I'm planning on using...

It is worth it to go to lvl 16 for 20% FRW boots ? Or would you advise staying on lvl 15 w/ 10% FRW ?

And what would be better ? 10% IAS gloves, +1 Jav skills Gloves or +1 Passive skills Gloves ?
(Knowing my luck, it'll take about 15 years to find a +10 IAS / +1 Skill gloves)
Or, if I do go to lvl 16... should I go w/ +5 stat gloves ?

I think a Piker can easily bite the bullet with no block, Pikes are also slow. Most the Jabbers that are succesfull are using some one handed spear and max block which with the max block and dodge make them damn tuff to hit. With no shield and that lvl I think you are at maybe 50% Dodge? Maybe a little better or worse?

If your heart is set on the 2 hand pike build you might try a few pike imbues, get some ETH ones and hope for IAS and maybe repair.

I understand the "shopped" build idea here, it actually give the prey a chance but that Massive Pike is going to be slow even with all the IAS available at lvl 15.

i dont know, no expert here but i study this stuff jsut so I know what might be coming when I get hostiled.

I'm not sure you're going to muster enough damage with a zon. You might as well go with a charge pally. Everyone will see you coming but thats ok too.

Not if you have a bunch of nice friends :p

But seriously, ed-jewels for lvl 9 come cheap, nothing like the +9 max'es.

I use around 18% ED-jewels in that Pike, and I think you can get them for 5-7 perf's each if yo uscan the trade channels :)

Ya, those 18-20 %ED jools have almost no use except in things like a Pike, or Maul and very few ppl want them. If you ask for them and just offer things lik egemz or expendable mid lvl stuff it shouldnt be that pricey.

I don't -have- a bunch of gems lying about...

Only games I play atm is with KTA (or where I was MFing S/E a bit... but I don't think I got a lot from there except oodles of money to gamble with).

That's part of the reason for shopped stuff... no hassle trading for it or hunting for it... =]

I doubt she'll do massive damage, but should just be fun to scare some people =]

I imbued an eth pike and got around 133 max damage, low lev req. I used it on a charger, but a pike is hard to line up for the charge, so now I'm going with mauls and great axes for my chargers. I really want to build a 1 hand jabazon myself. Maybe someone can give examples of acceptable weapons? How much max damage should a spear/pilum/whatever have? I'm thinking lvl 12-15 range, but after I build a practice one I'll go lvl 16 for twitch.

Those pikes have nice damage. I think i'll have to make one. Don't like the 13 durability though. I guess I can use it on a charger till almost broked and then slap it on a Necros merk like Hobbes one. That merk must be able to get a few ears with 600+ pvp (with amp). So you only PKK? Be honest I know you can't resist the sweet taste of newbie blood!!

What would be the best damage possible on an imbued or eth rare pike? What was the ED on your one mal?

I'll be honest I would pk if the build had the mobility to do it, especially the unbelievably annoying people you run into on bnet. Unfortionetly mercs are both dumb and slow so it doesn't work out that well. Although I'm not against "dueling" the pvmers if they think they can take me :lol:
