I am wondering who's got highest 1.10 hardcore ladder character (still alive) among this forum ? :howdy: personnally my only alive character is my level 64 sorc(meteor) i lost my level 92 zon last week and it is still painful......but that's hardcore.... :yep:

I think my sin is 92, but I havent ran much with her, also have either an 89 or almost 89 Sorc, 78 Barb, and (4) lvl 50-63 guys.

The sin is my lvler, I intend to hit 97+ with here in due process and had a 96 Sin last season.

The highest lvl poster I can think of from around here is Tukowolf (something like this) he is I think Rikjamesbiatch here, and he is like 97 1/2 or so Druid, #1 Druid and as of Sunday he was i beleive #8 overall. He just started college and i think he left his game at home on purpose so dont look for him moving during the week.

Starzia from last season......not sure what name this season is also up there pretty high, not sure abotu any others that post here.

Then its time for CS runs!!!

I did a CS run, 3 players last season to hit 96 it was abotu a 200k run. Not bad if you figure a CS run can be done in say 30 seconds!!! Well.....then you got the ole IP ban thing to worry about.

I'm not exactly sure how someone would have time to even look here if they were playing enough to be in the top 10 of the ladder. Haven't you people heard of sleep? Eating? Drinking?....seems like those folks must be still playing because they are crusted to their computer seat with weeks of butt-sweat...

Technically crusted and butt-sweat cannot happen at the same time. Now, if someone was to have a vynal or leather char then butt-sweat could cause suction that may of may not deminish the will to get up for the chiar since first, one doest really want to get up they merely know they should, but when the powers of physics are induced and are battleing thier attempts they may be giving up and just running more.

Now that is a thought for the day!

Actually Nebby, I hit like 96 1/3 with my sin last year, and i also built like 16-18 more builds all lvl 75 and up and most were well over lvl 80. Also manually MFed without MH. Before all that xpac stuff I put (3) lvl 87+ on the Classic ladder on East and had like 4-5 other Classic builds, and i also hit Asia to make a 86 sock fairly high up there in Classic. Ya, I play too damn much, but the time it takes to lvl to 90 is really not very long. With a hard day of play you can go from 92-93, 93-94 might even be done in one day and i mean a good long day. After that things start to get more serious in time. 94-95 took me like 2 weeks, but I wasnt running hard every day, i was doing a whole lot more. 95-96 was a lot of freakin runs and probaly took me a month becasue i just dont enjoy lvlin the same guy 100% of the time.

Most of your 97+ ppl dont have any other characters ecept maybe a Sorc and a Barb to BO her while MFin, and most of the 97+ are botters anyway. As far as i know all the "high lvlers" that come here are not botters, or at least i have heard no rumors of that where I have heard rumors or seem most of the other high lvlers brag about what thier botts collected. Pure is a botting fool.......botted his *** up for like 6-8 deaths, for all I know he botted his new barbs to lvl 92 ish to save time of recovery from his deaths.

hell i had a 92 Sorc last season that did all of her lvling from 84-92 jsut MFin, some of those runs were private 2-4 player Baals runs for MF, not really for lvlin but of course that comes with it.

90-92 isnt a whole lot of work, sure it is a bit of time but I garuntee in 2 weeks somoene that is serious and put in the time could hit 94+.

One day i got on and TEB-Bird was on.....this was a shock because it was 9 am my time 7 his and i asked him what he was up to. He said.....well, I got the urge to see how high a lvl I can get in one day......8pm that night he had a lvl 86 BO Barb.....they damn thing never killed a monster after lvl 20 because he got cowed and leeched and rushed from there on out. Hell Bird use to do chores while he lvled his Barb. He would make the new Baal run, BO everybody, go in TP, BO again and go AFK and clean his room, take out trash, wash dishes...etc. **** he hit lvl 93 and ran this barb maybe 3 weeks and not evenhard after the first day.

......it doesnt take as long as one might think.....now look at those Classic ladders...those 92+ guys....they use superglue on thier arse to get that high and toothpicks in the eyelids and I think coffee from and IV or its crasck....hell I dont know....

You should of just set that sin down for a few weeks or month and done somehtin to have fun and then got back on her. I have no idea how you guys can make one build or even only 2 and play those all the time and keep from getting bored.

Uhhh. Errr, yes. more serious in time. yes. OK, now I feel really lame. For me a "good day" of d2 is 2 hours total without interruption by g/f, phone ringing, etc. Sooooo. This is starting to come clear. I have a new strategy for next season (lol, next season. that's a good one, neb): (1) kick g/f out of house, bolt door. (2) Throw cell phone out window (don't have any non-mobile phones except at office). (3) quit job. who wanted to be a cell biologist anyway, that's for geeks. (4) get good supply of toothpicks, superglue, and jolt cola. MUWAHAHAHAHA!!! I'll be #117 on the ladder in no time!!!! MUWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!


BTW, highest ladder 2: 83 frosty-zealot, still wearing the same crappy rings he got from stupid ormus, and boots from normal act4---yes, all the kids make fun of him in games (grrr). Then the ridicule really starts when it becomes apparent he doesn't use hammers...but that's another story.

Well Nebby, not all of use have hours to blow an run lik enutz and you are jsut one who cant. Cant quit job cause then no INET connection.....GF might be expendable but I doubt you want that....get her into DII is an option!!! Phones? what are phones?

Hell i had ppl call me a noob when I was on my 96 sin when they scanned her. they usually shut up really quick when I asked them if they thought they could hit 96 with this gear!!! The real noobs are the ones calling everyone noob........

I have had 2 javazons - ever - in my entire d2 history - sc and hc.

First one died at lvl 54ish (can't recall) to a few blow-up dolls (now THERE is an image for you, death by blow up doll ... luxurious premium vinyl with real life like hair ain't got nothin on Meph's lil hoes) Next one I was smarter and played her better and used her skills more wisely ... and lost her at 82. THIS next one (after a short break to make a laggomancer) shall be indestructable (ie- she won't die to the same things ..) - I know now what I have done wrong in each build and I shall strive not to repeat my mistakes!!!

Of course if all I could play for the rest of my d2 gaming life was javazons I might start to get a lil loopy.

Now, i can understand it when you are on a limited time schedule like Nebby, play 2 hours a day if lucky or like 10-15 a week, but when you hit 97-98 you are running 20-40 hours or more a week and all you ever played was that one character it would drive me nutz.

2 FE deaths in NM because CS is too effective at making things dead, and LF is too slow at it.

Oh, and 1 char is easy, it all depends on your outlook.
Myself that sin was my first guardian, so I was used to playing characters until they die before then and having that happen frequently enough to keep me busy, and was at a loss of what to do about it. First my reaction was to MF like mad because I thought I'd die soon, so I figured it'd be nice to have good gear to build another guardian. Then I hit 91 MFing E/S/CS (I was unaware as to how good pindle is for trapsins at the time, and didn't want to lose my char).
Once I was 91 I was on the bottom of the Sin ladder, and felt quite resolved to stay there, until eventually someone booted me off.
I clued in to the fact that I wasn't going to be able to keep up that 16th spot via MF runs, so I did some baal runs and was quite shocked about how fast I leveled (as compared to the MF runs I was doing before), infact before this character my highest was 92 on softcore, as all I did on SC was MF and duel.
At about the time I started seriously baaling and running down people on the sin ladder one at a time yara died, so I had the goal of catching her.
After hitting almost 96 to grab the #1 sin spot I set about grabbing #16 on the overall. Sixteen came soon enough, and from there I had people to pass at nice intervals of about 80 runs each, so I had a goal for each night of moving up one spot each night, as well as staying up with greenwolf. Yes, I did run and keep up with greenwolf for quite some time, the only reason he caught me is I had to format my computer 3 times in 4 days to try and make it work right again.
I lost interest when I ran out of people that were easy to catch, so long as I had an obtainable goal of some sort keeping interested in the character was easy.

and Cy, you're not alone in the quest. I've had at this point at least 7 javazons, and still haven't got it quite perfect- but since the advent of the synergies, they got a little too powerful for my taste. Heh. Of course, until you just run down the stairs to the A3 sewers and start chuckin' sticks everywhere, lagging all to hell just in time to read... "Deeds".

Seriously hope to play him onwards after the KTA season ends. Pretty much untwinked, wearing only stuff we found while questing. Not the highest character here, but always nice to prove how far you can go without endless Baalruns and just a cool party of 5-8 ppl.

I just like building characters more than trying for 99 all that much.

its really not that "boring" playing just one character, so long as it doesnt involve spamming 1 skill over and over.

ive had like 6 necros now, all of em bar one was a hybrid. i had the F1-F8 controls full, and (if i got an ohm last season) F9-F11 was saved for cta. ran as follows, for one of em: (psn)

also had a sin with 6 keys: ls, shadow, fade, bos, mindblast, fblast. and a 7th "key" with an lr wand on switch.

those are my two favorites, because u can actually spam multiple spells. i absolutely abhor sorcs (even if they are the source of most my riches in season1) because all i press are 3 buttons (tele, orb, static).

oh, and i guess it doesnt technically count as a season 2 char, lvl 84 nec on single player. i LOVE /players 8 command

88 meteorb sorc and 70 lf/cs amazon. usually i am one of those peeps who cranks out 20+ gaurdians every season. but as i grow older i notice my priorities increase, and my free time descreases. not to mention the fact that this game(as fun as it is) is very ancient....and it just doesnt appeal as much to me as it once originally did. anyway i still play nonetheless...congrats to all of the

yes, it aint even close.

the timer on psn explosion is horrendous; something like 10k damage over 10+seconds? thats even worse than psn nova (im up to 3.9k on my new nec, only lvl 27+trangs gloves), which will prolly do around 2.5k/2 sec if you are insanely poor.

and ce is better than both of em, of course assuming low player games and bodies available.

Poison explosion actually has pretty high damage. My necro last season did 60,000 damage with it (although yes, it was over like a million seconds). Still, it is nearly impossible to kill anything with it since you have to kill one thing, explode it, and then wait for a monster to amble into the cloud of poison. Lame.
