Ok i have a full blizz sorc just for running Andy / Meph / Pindle, I am currentley lvl 81 merc is lvl 78 a2 holy freeze using gaze/shaft/eth bonehew.

So my question is is their any way to keep him alive because he gets killed by meph ever single time?

You will need to lvl him up, along with you. Before my Mercs were between 85-90, the died alot at Mephisto. Lifeleech wont help you at bosses, so maybe replace bonehew with Reapers Toll for the Decrepify which really slows Meph down alot, also making him more vulnerable.

Otherwise always ahve rejus ready for your Merc. For Bossrunning Mightmerc might be more useful, since he dishes out more damage, which also means shorter killing time and better chance of keeping your Merc alive.

one other question ..... how do i avoid realm downs ? I run andy /meph / pindle. I am a blizz sorc..... 1 blizz kills pindle and all his goones and like 2 blizz and 2 ice blast kill andy meph takes a few more. But I can do all 3 in like 3 to 4 mins.

You wont be able to avoid those. This new bot protection has been a hassle for all players who do short games, likely also MFers are affected.

They only way i see, is by makeing your runs longer. Like doing Andy, Meph, Pindle together. Maybe add Baal too. Those cold immune skeletons die fast to your Merc. Try just to make your runs longer without actually loosing too much time. Adding Baal might do the trick.

Otherwise you will have to live with Realm down.

I have a defiance Merc with Stone (eth Balrog skin), Blackhorn's and Eth reaper's Troll.
I am lvl 85 now and my merc hardly dies. A HF merc with a cold sorc is overkill IMO. I like a high defence tank better.

I tele up to the "peninsula" in front of the portal to act IV and then walk to Meph.
He usualy comes straight at me. I open with a FO, but a blizz or any other cold spell will do.
I stand still and tank for a while, in the mean time I spam static.
The merc can enter combat then while he has a chance to activate his aura (if I do pure Meph runs) and cast decrep.

When my life is down, or Meph hits me too much, I disengage and finish him off, while the merc tanks.

But leveling the merc is the best tactic, since chance to hit is influenced big time by level difference.
