It looks like your resists are terrible... and energy shield is a waste unless you put 20 points in telekinesis... therefore all those points in energy should have gone into vitality. I'd recommend using tals belt and ammy, which will help a little bit with resists, mf, and life, and maybe using sanctuary as a shield... that should bring your resists up. Also get a good merc to tank for you.

res looks bad, but what kills you. what takes most of your life? if its the poison, look for items to get 75% poison length reduced. is it the ball lightning, the carvers, the fire, the poison, melee with other monsters...

For items, get Tal's Belt and Tal's Amulet for some better resists and MF from the 3 item set bonus. Socket the Lidless with a PDiamond and you sould be okay enough to do both Andy and Meph even without much resists.

thanks for the suggestion.. see I am trying to aim for the highest amount of mf ..

I have a blizz sorc in the making @ lvl 35 or so now.. which I am going to transfer some items over to.. my friend has a lvl 88 with like 600% mf.. I would like to hit the 5-6 hundred range.

oh and mathil.. its everything all at once.. and the auto tele from occy tends to put me in bad spots :p

I am not a Sorc expert but every guide I have read suggest only 1 point in Warmth and to let + skills boost it up. Any reason for putting so many points in there...?

Depends i guess. Even for a pure fire build you willnto require more than 1pt in warmth, but on the other hand you have many pts left once the 4 spells that give you the most damage and synergies, you will have alot of points left. So if you feel like not wanting to gulp mana potions at all or your +skill are not that high you can indeed boost warmth.

Mostly i think though its a typical thing someone will do, when he/she is new to sorceress builds, since that skill looks very convinient when you first see it.

I pumped it up because it was needed back in 1.09 and .08

so everything is killing you. you really need to not focus on mf and focus on staying alive. if you can't complete the runs you can't get the drop. i don't spend a lot of time mfing, but most of the people i talked to said they mf better with less mf. ie: one guy said his 200 mf zon was better than his 600 mf sorc (09).

you only had 50 fcr i believe. get to the next breakpoint: 63. arachnids mesh if you can get it. assuming you have high speed internet and a computer that doesn't lag too bad, that breakpoint should be enough to get you there without too much trouble.

in case of trouble you need res and consider block.

Dude if I had the equipment you are throwing around so casually I wouldn't need to MF.......
chains-stone-botd-delirium...........

For a real world solution......
get a shield with resistance on it - mosers or ancients pledge or a a 3-socket with pdiamonds in it. If you want to have that on your switch and go to something else for the kill go ahead.

Get more resistance from charms. Annihilus if you don't have one and can lay your hands on one. Otherwise, shimmering is best, otherwise 9 or 10% smalls in the fire/lightning/cold variety. Add in life charms to fill up any spaces left.

If your goldwrap isn't upgraded to a battle belt, do so to get that forth row of potions - drink frequently to keep your health at full level.

Consider gambling some boots. You can find boots that have mf (maybe not as much as travs) fast run/walk, fast hit recovery, and lots of resistance. For a sacrifice of 18% of mf, you could get 70% or so resistance where it counts.

Dump the rest of the points you get from leveling into vitality.

The maximum amount on MF on rare boots i have seen is 25% and that is the maximum you can get on rare boots.

The max resistances you can get on rare boots is 40% for each kind elemental resistance.

Sofar i have seen boots with dual high resistances, faster run walk and MF on them at the same time. Those can rival almost any unique boots for the Sorceress.

Thanks for the clarification. The sacrifice of 18% i spoke of was his 42% - 18% = 24% (I wasn't sure of the exact top mf on rares, which is why I went with the about part)

I am wearing a pair with 24% mf, and res in the 20's and 30's in light/fire/cold, if they had faster run/walk I would not be gambling for their replacement.....

You wont be able to get some with 3 resists, MF and faster run/walk since the amount of properties on those rare boots is limited. The best you can wish for is i think 4 properties, meaning FRW,2 resists and MF.

Gambling will get you those in the end ;)
