I'm considering making one next as a change from my Skellimancer... but have often observed a few packs of magic immunes towards the end of hell - often lister, etc...
Which kind of implies the build would suddenly become nightmarishly difficult to progress with?
Advice most welcome!
The usual solution is to party with other players or if you only play solo equip your merc with a good weapon. Alternatively or even additionally, get yourself a wand with + Revive skill and when the first corpses get ready to detonate ...

Yeah - I suspect it might be something like that. I normally solo - so if worse comes to the obsolute worse can swap in another character such as the aforementioned Skellimancer or my IK Barb...
Cheers tho!

come on, if you normally solo, bonemancer will be the one you have the least trouble with immunes playing.
mercenaries always help

If you use your 1 point CE with all your +bone tree skills you have an effect way to kill/help your merc kill magic immunes
Even in act 2 where most MIs are they are generally surrounded by non-MI monsters
