I can solo hell fine, only thing thats causing real trouble are souls, i really need lightning absorb

As for upgrading HoZ, i dont think its worth it, you wont gain much defence by it, and the str req rises a fair amount, IMO the only reason for upgrading a HoZ would be the higher smite dmg

Guilded shield (ordinary HoZ):
Min Str. 89
Def 144-168
Smite dmg 20 to 28

Zakarum Shield (Upped HoZ)
Min Str. 142
Def 169-193
Smite dmg 46 to 46

So depending on the starting def and the ED%i would say in most cases its not worth upgrading

Also forgot to mention the stated gear is my MF gear, but when im baal running with my friends i use TO gloves, upped +35 res viper, instead, to reach the 125 FCR breakpoint, and instead let my sorc friend do the killing blow.

Im also needing a HOTO, but havent tried to trade for one yet, as i dont need it that bad

you have right...that str can give troubles and could better used for vita.

With my merc I can do baalruns but need becarefull or I'm dead in a moment...
in public games no problems....

If you can find a wisp ring, trade them!!

The hoto I like to try but have to make changes in resist.
Have atm 7 k damage.
Merc can kill everything just to NM
Hell he need help
maybe in the future after finding hi runes we can trade better gear :) :)

Mostly i try to do little public baalruns and if it came hot i stop and do mf runs.

my merc has 51 res all without gear, with rockstopper he has max in lightning, fire and cold res

My hammerdin is over halfway to level 90, and has maxed BH, Vigor, BA, Concentration, and is working up Holy Shield now. I use him primarily for MF (he gets around 495% on switch, with another ist and a level he'll be well over 500, which is where I plan to keep him) but I keep PvM (magefists, arachnids) gear in stash for when I'm not actually MFing...

He's a pretty basic cookie cutter, but I still have a ways to go to perfect my gear, and especially my charms. He's on USEast SCNL. Anyways... so I think I'm done. :thumbsup:

I'm thinking about to change my wizzy for other weapon but I need really my resist. So GC with 15 all and other helm could be helpfull.
If I can make these changes i could use HOTO.

For the guy who wanted the higher mf travs: I'm willing to trade mine for yours as long as you throw in something I need(i.e. +2 skills ammy or upped vipermagi with ptopaz[yeah I know that's probably not gonna happen] ladder btw)

@DjSlayer yeh Tgods/ aracnid can do wonders I think. Perhaps in the next version they make an extra travelling box to keep are switch gear :) That we need..

@Elu mm...lionheart...could be better I think but the Crown of ages make it good...

Have enough what? Mana? or Money?

Money-wise, I run Meph with tele, then Eldritch(frigid highlands)

Usually the equipment I find there is good enough/sell worthy enough to maintain high money, it usually takes no more than 50k gold to repair the staff on the charges. It's the next best thing to enigma, IMO. Tele ammys never have enough charges to do a full meph run.

I'm trying to get HoZ currently. All I have is an extra arachnids mesh that I found. I don't know if that's too much/too little for hoz because I'm pretty new to 1.10. The first time I tried trading for Hoz I got tricked by the oldest scam in the book. The guy showed me an Um'd HoZ and I offered him Tal's amulet for it. He told me to go get 1 other item and I suggested Pul Rune. Of course I was really excited after I went to my stash and reopened the trade window. I didn't check the item once I saw the green check. Tough to lose Pul Rune and Tal's ammy when you don't have a lot of other stuff to trade, but I don't mind it that badly because I was only using the items for tradebait. I leanred a pretty good lesson that day: never trade outside of diabloii.net forums. :) That's the first time I've ever ran into a trade scam so it didn't cross my mind that he could've switched on me.

of course for pvp, gear will change depending on who u r dueling
e.g use trang gloves and ravenfrosts for cold sorcs

I personally use a couple of rare fcr/mana/life/resist rings I've found that kick the pants off of both sojs and bks. rare stuff definitely gets underrated. Of course, if I didn't trade off the wisps I had to help me get a cta, I would have left one of those one in certain instances.

I don't do much mfing in act 5 other than Eldrich, Shenk, and Thresh Socket so I'm rarely ever in any real danger. As I said, "I don't trade". I suppose I might sometime in the future, but am not interested right now. I enjoy finding my own gear. Oh i didn't think you were spamming lol. I was just advising you to trade your combat charm for a hoz and skullders, cause that way you'll gain +5 to combat skills instead of +1 not to mention other useful mods, but if you enjoy playing untwinked then by all means go for it. Good luck with your hammerdin :thumbsup:
