Does caracter level influence the quality and items stats when u gamble or craft items?

If i remember i read this on thread before...but i aint sure if i understod that right?

Yes for both,

When gambling the character level (clvl) is used to determin the item level (ilvl) of an item.

The ilvl is determined as clvl -5 to clvl +4.

Also, the clvl is used to determin what items are visible when gambling, this uses the same -5, +4 as above.

It is also used durring crafting but I fear to give out false information on that particular subject and will wait for another to answer.

Clvl doesn't affect the quality of gambled items, in the sense of whether they will be unique or set, etc. That is always fixed odds. The rest is as explained by Gta.

For crafting, both your clvl and the input item level (just the one being crafted, not the other ingredients) are important. The output ilvl, which will determine the mods you can get, will be [clvl/2]+[input ilvl/2].

So for those of us not bright enough to know the lvls and such, what clvl should I use for crafting +2 amulets if the amulets are gambled (or found on hell baal runs)?

a character at lvl 93 can craft there own gambled ammulates and safelly have everyone be eligable for +2 skils


for world stone runs.. lvl 85 monsters will need a lvl 96 character

if u got from a unique lvl 88 u will need a lvl 92

if u found off hell baal lvl 95 u will need a clvl 86
