I have 3 different setups I could go with my sorceress:

Equipment:

Helmet- Shako (ptopaz)
Armor- P Skin of the Vipermagi (um rune)
Weapon- Wizardspike (ist rune)
Shield- Lidless wall (perfect diamond)
Gloves- Magefist
Boots- Perfect War Travelers
Belt- Arachnids Mesh
Rings- 2x SOJS
Amulet- Maras

Setup 2-
Helmet- Shako (ptopaz)
Armor- Tals armor (ptopaz)
Weapon- Ist oculus
Shield- Stormshield (ist)
Gloves- Perfect chancies
Boots- Perfect war travelers
Belt- Tals
Rings- Perfect Nagels
Amulet- Tals

Setup 3-
Helmet- Shako (ptopaz)
Armor- Skin of the Vipermagi (um rune)
Weapon- Wizardspike (ist)
Shield- Lidless
Gloves- Magefist
Boots- War travs
Belt- Arachnids
Rings- Nagel and SOJ
Amulet- Maras

As you can see, the first setup would lack MF, the second setup would lack FCR and Resists, and the third would lack MF, again. I dont know which setup to choose. The sorceress will be for PvM or PvP (if i wanna duel a friend NO PUBBIES with this sorc) please help. :grrr:

If I must choose, I would pick B, not because I believe in the more-MF-the-better theory, but because I can't imagine putting an Ist in a wizspike.

Other than that, option A looks fine.

What kind of a sorc is this? Fire/Cold/Lightning? Hard to help without knowing that.

And I recommend you use the following strategy: set yourself some goals.

-350+ mf
-50+ resists
-x% fcr
-x life and x mana
-x +skills
-x damage
-etc...

Whatever, and figure it out.

MF is not that important at all. Like UserMathias said, anything above 300-350 is way enough from what you will ever need.

Important things:
at least 63% FCR or 75% for Chain Lightning and Lightning
Maxed resistances are important, or at least maxed Lightning resistance is.
Life is important, no matter if you use max-block or not.
Try to have at least ~800 mana. More is better.
+10 skills and more are also pretty useful.

Wizardspike is an awesome weapon yet it seems highly underrated to me... Any reason why you wouldn't IST it? It's already got FCR + Resistances + Mana. MF is the ONLY thing it's lacking... I am just trying to understand :)

Added: Well okay, it's also lacking + skills...

I like to use Wizard Spiek for Teleporting purposes on switch. Though i would never IST it. Rather put a HEL into it if dont do a max-block build.
