Since gold is a "normal" item it doesn't really matter. Any tree or hybrid that you are comfortable with and kills fast. Champions, Travincial, and Brem Sparky and company are your target monsters of choice.

Definity go Cold Skill and get Blizzard maxed. You can easily kill Council Members with one hit on the attack. Get a good mercenary for the Cold Immunes. Also, kill bosses for their drops and sell what you don't need. Might as well make a Gold Finding, Magic Finding Sorceress in one since they intertwine with each other.

go kill a few players.......don't know why people like their gold, but I'd equip armour with wealth runeword, dwarf star ring are good starts...

here are my opinions....

My goldfinder uses orb/fireball. the main reason being the cold immune guys in travincal. Orb dispatches the little critters very well and you dont have to get that close.

for items... this is dependant on your personal preferences.

I use the following gear in my goldfinding setup:
Ali Baba - 2 res jewels
Goldskin - Lem'd
2x Dwarf Star
Inferno Stride (can give up to 80 goldfind)
+cold skills amulet
+cold skills circlet
p-diamond ward
Chance Guards
Goldwrap

Charms
2 x Gold find grands 38%, 39%
2 x Gold find smalls 10%, 10%
1 x Gheeds (dont remember % goldfind)
1 x 54 mana grand
Rest are vita and res charms

With this setup i have max resists against council. My cold skills circlet gives me 60 additional mana. If you are having prob. with mana, find a bahamut's circlet or amulet.. that should give you all that you will ever need.

i think goldfinder is a blizzard sorc because she can deal great damage even when using less +skill gears. I could try meteorb but she will have a hard time killing travs with only +4 all skills

This is about 900%+ gold find.

Try to get a powerful HF a2 merc so u can tank travs easily.

Grand charms can have 30+% to gold find so look out for them. Gheed's grand charm is also very good to have.

I would agree that the Travincal is a good place, but the Durance of Hate is also very effective. Who knows, maybe you'll find some Stormlashes and Cham runes from Meph on the same trip.

+ Mephisto can also drop high gold amounts. Combining Mephisto and Council for GOld runs is certainly a nice option.

I would also vouch for either Blizzard Sorc or Meteorb for goldfind runs, though ithink the Blizzard build would be better suited. Better and faster killing power all over.

While you can make a gold find sorceress, I would recommend that you use a barbarian instead. I like warcry variety because I like to let the merc do the kill. Merc kills add your gold find/magic find to their own, so if you have them in a 11 or 12% leech crown of thieves with a lem and wealth armor you have added 250% gold find to your equation as well as 100% mf.

1. Barbarians have the find item skill - it is easy to put a few points into it and have a 50% chance of getting double drops from monster.

2. Barbarians can dual wield Ali-Baba's which also bumps up your gold find, even more if you put 4 lems in both of them or 3 lems and a shael which is my preferred setup.

3. Grand charms can have up to 40% gold find on them - my favorite for a barbarian is warcry with gold find

4. Gheeds can have up to 160% gold find on them - if you aren't trying to get the 40% max mf they are not so expensive.

5. My favorite helm is either Crown of Theives with a lem for 150% gold find or tarnhelm with a lem for 125% gold find but up to 50% mf.

6. I use a merc to make the kills. I liked act II Might merc, but no cold damage either on me or the merc as shattered monsters cant have find item used on them. An act V barbarian would also be good.

I carried somewhere between 1500 and 2000% goldfind and 600 or 700% magic find. I only goldfind on the council in trancival. They are easy to get to, they drop the same treasure class as mephisto at 1/6th the rate (meaning that killing the 3 champion members of trancival twice would be the equivalent of killing mephisto once mf wise). My runs averaged 600k gold per trip, and I could make 8 or 9 runs an hour. I used my ill gotten gains to gamble rings/ammys and circlets.

i heard that nitemare drops the same amount of gold as hell, is this true??
