screwed up - rebuild?

so i decided to make a meteorb sorc for MFing, so I got her to lvl 20 without using any skill points, then i systematically put in points and had still about 7 saved. I was looking at my skill tree and accidentally put an extra point in Frost Nova. Ugh. So my question is should I scrap the char? My friend told me he had a lvl 40 sorc and misplaced a point in frozen armor and remade, but mine isnt PvP so every skill point isnt quite as crucial. The build is to get to around 85, anything after that woulc just be a cold or fire mastery, but I cannot help but thinking that if i leveled just 1 more to make up for the nova, that could be an extra point in a mastery. LMK what you think, thanks.

It's your choice. Level 20 isn't high, you can get to that level in an hour or two if you tried. If you are concerned and have an inch on your back because of one mistake, then by all mean scrap it. It's not going to effect much though.

To be honest though, for me, getting to lvl 20 is the hardest part. Because 1 - 15 Tristram runs leaves you to get 3 lvls from Tombs until Cows at 20. This is usually a problem, because it's time consuming doing all the quests until you get to that point. It's cake from there on.

Anyway, go ahead and remake. You don't want to be 10 lvls higher and still worrying about it.

Since you buildis for PvM only you wont cry over that 1pt lost. The one pt missing one of your masteries wont tip your damage badly. I think this is a question of how perfect you want your build to be and thats all about it.
I plan my sorcs alot in advance and would regret misplaced points, though they would not mean such a big difference. Just me striving for perfection then.

I have to agree with Melianor on this one, as I'm not an absolute perfectionist, so one point on a PvM build is not a big deal at all.

If you feel like that misplaced point looms over you everytime you use her, then remake.
The one point won't change your damage much at all since it's pvm. If it doesn't bother you, just take that point out of what you would have put into cold mastery. A very high level cold mastery isn't that important for pvm.

If you're a perfectionist and it bothers you then you should definitely remake now before you really get annoyed by it at higher levels.

Bah! Someone at these forums claimed they've rebuilt their pvp zealot (in the 80's each time) multiple times. 4 or 5 iirc.

ive rebuilt my current ladder sorc a few times.. highest she has been was lvl 91, im still not really happy right now but shes lvl 94, and id rather make a new char, besides she solos everything 8 player game, so its all good
