1.Does RF affect immunities when casting spells?
2. Does it need to be inserted in weapon?
3. I found monsters in the Pit cold immune (don't rem. the name) It seems that they're not affected by the pally's Conviction- they're still cold immune?? What's going on? is this a bug??
4. Does lower res on merc equip. work on my spells?
THX for help :)

1. No, only paladins conviction and necros lower resist can do his.
2. No, any socketed equipment will do.
3. Maybe the conv level wasn't high enough. Level required depends on what resistance the monster in question have.
4. No, only works on mercs attacks.

i heard that RF must be inserted in weapon to lower resists of monsters - is this true? And does RF's lower res. works on pvp??

Ihave maxed conviction skill -150 res all.

Do note that Conviction and Lower Resist work at 20% effectiveness when trying to affect resistances of "Immune" monsters against whatever element they are immune to; so, if the monster has -really- high resist past 100% (which would make them immune), not even maximum Conviction may be enough to bring them under 100% since it only works at 20% (or in your case, -30% resist to whatever element they happen to be immune to). So if the monster had like 140% fire resist your Conviction would not break their immunity.

Corrupt rogues in the Pit have 130% cold resist, which means even a maxed Conviction can't break them.
