Whats good for killing Dclone..Open Wounds, Crushing Blow, or Deadly Strike. Because I was thinking if its Crushing blow, I could have a whole setup for just Diablo clone:

When that "Diablo walks the Earth" notice comes up, I go to my stash and put on the following:

Helmet: Giant Skull with double ber (10% cb, 16% dr)
Armor: Chains of Honor archon plate (resists)
Weapon: Heavens Light with double um rune or should I put 1 um 1 mal(pmh) if double um (33% cb from HL, and an additional 50%!! cb from 2x um)
Shield: HoZ upgraded, regardless, it just rocks
Switch: BotD War pike 380%-400% ed
Belt: Verdungos Hearty Cord (15% dr)
Gloves: Perfect steelrend (10% cb)
Boots: Gore Rider (10% ow, 15% cb, 15% ds..)
Amulet:Highlords (37% ds, at level 99 i think, or rising sun for absorb)
Rings: Raven Frost and Raven frost (both perfect for massive AR)

This would give me a possible 118% cb, 10% ow, 52% ds(if math is correct), 31% dr, and massive resists and possible absorb, decent ar. My charms would consist of FHR charms and Steel charms of Vita for AR and life. Any suggestions.

EDIT: Edit on the weapon. I could possibly use the Doom runeword to add prevent monster heal (major help), 25% open wounds, 20% deadly strike, but no more crushing blow, also it will freeze the target +3 (slow him).

ANOTHER EDIT: Another question..is it possible for a great poleaxe to have 5 sockets (for doom) on arreats it says 6, but i dont know if thats just possible sockets, or always 6 sockets. If it cant, whats a good polearm to put doom in

Ah, no need to be so expensive. Use Gullam... can't spell it Face, Gore Riders, some crafted gloves, and a Stormlash. That's sufficient crushing blow. Being that DClone has a TON of life and is pretty much resistant to everything, CB IS your best bet at taking him down quickly. Use smite. It's slower than zeal, but he can't block it, and you won't miss since it ITD. Use OW and CB, but CB is the real killer, not the damage from your weapon. 14k hammers can't compare with CB considering the large amount of life he has.

Thanks...could Doom go into a berserker axe, I'm asking because with Doom requiring 5 sockets, and me have never seen a 5 socket berserker axe, am not sure if a berserker axe can have 5 sockets. If it can, I'm all set. Thanks for the help.

It can, but I'm telling you, it doesn't have to be that expensive. You may as well use your resources elsewhere.

Alright thanks. But this build would give me 108% cb, high resists, high ar/life, life tap, merc with prevent monster heal, good damage. He would go down in minutes, maybe seconds lol.

But your right about this build. Its VERY expensive.

Look, if you want CB, Use Gul helm, Goblin Toe, CB Gloves, and a Stormlash, Ber if you REALLY want it. It's a LOT cheaper, and if you need prevent monster heal, just find a magic weapon. But, it's not my resources that you are using, so feel free to do whatever you wished. I can only offer the best suggestions I can give.

Also, I'm going to combine Charger with a Smiter and I'm not sure what skills to max and so on.

Charge and smite of course, but auras? synergies? thanks in advance. :surprise:
And since I'll be doing Baal runs at first, what skills should I focus on at levels

1-10
10-20
20-30
30-40....

*EDIT* Read chargadin thread and post there plz

It's the second scourge down... (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/umaces.shtml)

But you may as well use www.diabloii.net's (http://www.diabloii.net/items/uniques/weapons_maces-elite.shtml) site. I find the layout to be easier to work through, anyway.
