Hell meph running

Hi, I am currently level 83 with 700 hp and every time I try to do hell meph runs I sometimes get insta-gibbed and other times i can kill meph without a problem.But in NM meph runs I never have a problem so what level would you suggest me being to do hell meph runs alone?

Level 83 should be plenty.

Exactly what is your build? (An example would be A Blizzard Sorceress.)

Uh, okay I assume you're a meteorb? Where's the rest of your skill points. . .you should have A LOT more if you're 83. . .

Can you post your skills before the +skills are added from your items?

The easiest way to run meph I would say is a Blizzard Sorceress, using the moat trick.

I have also tried using a meteorb to defeat meph. . .and It's not very easy for me. (I had pretty good gear for ladder too) Of course I was used to my Blizzard sorceress and had gotten pretty lazy. . .

Now, that pretty much explains your problem, doesn't it?

To me it looks like you have to be very careful --- stay out of mephs casting range --- as one hit from one of his spells will probably cut off a good deal of your life bulb.

Maybe try to beef up your merc, so meph has something to chew on. This should also make it easier to target him since he won't be chasing you anymore, and sit around doing arm-wrestling with your merc instead.

I think meph pretty much owns mercenaries unless you have top-of-the-line gear, and if you can afford that for a mercenary, you probably wouldn't be mfing.

If you don't have pretty good items for your merc, meph will chew him up and spit him out pretty fast.

My suggestion is if you plan on running pure Mephisto, make a Blizzard Sorceress. You can find a guide on making one in the Sorceress Section (http://forums.rpgforums.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=30&f=20).
