I'm currently playing in an untwinked group, and we're really love some Honors and Lores. We're all currently levels 29 and 30, and in act five.

I remember that I once got a sol from council, I can't remember if it was Normal or Nightmare though. :cheesy:

I did about ten Normal council runs and not even an El rune dropped, so I'm thinking it was Nightmare. Just wondering if anyone can confirm this though.

I was also wondering, I looked on Arreat Summit and it seems you cannot cube a Sol? Is this correct or am I again missing something.

And can someone tell me what runes the counctess can drop?

I know this has probably been discussed a lot, but I'm going to sleep and thought I'd just throw it in. :bonk:

Normal is up to a Ral I believe?
Then I'm not sure about NightMare or Hell.

Thanks for your help, even if you can answer one of my questions it'll be a great help.

Sorry that I wont be able to thank you right away after you reply, but I'm going to sleep. So thanks in advance if you can help!

The highest rune Normal council can drop is a sol rune, although that is one of the items they have the lowest chance to drop.

It is correct that you cannot cube up to a sol on Non-ladder.

The countess can drop up to:
Normal - Ral
Nightmare - Ko
Hell - Lo

Thank you, I also know that there is a quest drop, which you stated, and a monster drop, but that's all I really wanted. :innocent:

Now why the heck did I wake up and come back here.

Actually, you CAN cube up to a sol on non-ladder. However, after thul, you need to add specific chippies to the recipes.

Ahh, I see I missed tha part:

3 Thul Runes + 1 Chipped Topaz = Amn Rune
3 Amn Runes + 1 Chipped Amethyst = Sol Rune
3 Sol Runes + 1 Chipped Sapphire = Shael Rune
3 Shael Runes + 1 Chipped Ruby = Dol Rune
