I am working on a Lord of Magi Necro, and soon I'll be ready for some extra skills, and right now my account doesn't have a good mf char. Is there some skills that make bosses push overs? I know CE can work but what about baal and meph and really D, they are rarely surrounded by corpses. I am looking for skills really to take down act bosses as my mages + merc easily handle the regular game stuff.

Decrep makes for a very slow boss. Add a Clay Golem and maybe a HF Merc and things don't move round very much, if they move at all.

Some crushing blow gear on your merc should speed things along nicely too.

If you just want it for attacking bosses, I'd go with bone spear. Also, just make sure you have decrep.

Not unless you can get them synergized. On their own they are not really that hot.

Well, it does half their movement and attack speed. That means that your minions live twice as long and get their attacks interrupted much less frequently.
Also bosses have a tendency to forego special attacks when cursed with Decrep.

You don't need to put "some" points, all you'll ever need is one point.

Don't forget Pit runs too for magic finding. Skelymancers and Poison necros can do well in the pits.. there are no physical or poison immunes there... and it's easy and safe to get to.

what do I get from pit runs? I don't need runes
the pit can drop every item type in the game.
unique sacred armor anyone?
anyway, even in one player hell baal hasa lot of hitpoints, and it doesnt get much better when he summons his clone to destroy your skellies with his manadrain fire wave thingy.
your bets bet?
revive urdars for crushing blow. 10 urdars makes short work of baal.

Nah, it will only effect your physical damage, as it lowers physical resists by 50%

I've never heard of anyone doing the pits consistently in NM.... but maybe it would be ok??? try it about 5 times and you'll have your answer

The Pit in Nightmare is not worth running. It is much the same as the surrounding areas. Nothing exciting can be found there that can't found easier elsewhere.
The Pit in Hell is notable since almost any item can drop including some very high level armours such as IK and Tals that are normally difficult to get. The Pit in Hell is fairly safe to run, which means a lot of mf can be carried, thereby increasing your chances of a high level drop being a Unique or Set.
