Its hard having 1.1k mana and sucking it up in about 5 seconds flat. the only solution i see to this is using 70-15s, but those are buggy charms and i dont want to have anything to do with them. anyone know of a good way to increase my mana to about 1600 or 1700? (would prefer if the suggestions came from someone with experience with a warcry barb)

it would help if you told me your current gear...
easy ways: perfect spahires in armor/helm, SoJs, Wiz Spikes, Silkweave's, frostburns, charms with mana on them, sur rune in shield

i have basically the gear in that pvp warcry guide. im nearly done but even with ~1.2k mana you can only cast warcry about 20 times (not even counting the mana cost of teleport) and 20 warcries is not enough to take down most of the tougher foes.

It sounds like the only good way to increase your mana a significant amount would be through mana charms. You don't have to be perfect and get the buggy charms, just get any that you can find. I would have suggested warcry charms, but that raises the cost of your warcry.
Assuming this isn't pvp you could always rebuild and put a few less points into warcry to bring down the mana requirement.
Your play style might also make your mana usage less than efficient. The more enemies you can get together, the better warcry is, obviously. If you're not bunching them together enough, that'll drain you pretty quickly too.
These are the possibilities I can think of...

if you're pvm use taunt to bring em over to you and then yell at them
I currently have 1,4k mana it's working out alright.
What you could do is replace 2 or 3 WC Gc's with mana charms, that should help alot.

one of the problems for a barb is that wiz's and shako's +mana per clvl works after battle orders and is not multiplied by it. while dual wizard spikes or HotO is probably the best idea, if you want raw mana get a razorswitch staff (jo staff). it adds 175 mana straight up, which means after battle orders its more like 400 mana.
razorswitch
jo staff
Magic Damage Reduce By 15
+175 to Mana
+80 to Life
All Resistances +50
Attackers Takes Damage of 15
30% Faster Cast Rate
+1 To All Skill Levels
only problem is that it is two handed, obviously, and it doesnt bring enough fast cast to the table. but otherwise its pretty damn strong, and you dont need 75 dex to use it.
