saw that earlier today...never thought a cat could make a man scream like that. lesson learned, people: dont leash cats. cats dont like leashes and they dont like you.

dude, cats own. I have 2 and they are always wanting to chill on my lap. This video was so funny how much it changed from the beginning to the end. "He's a really sweet cat"...

HAH! Man I love cats. I like to call mine my Sniper Kitty. The cat is psycho. You'll just be walking around the house minding your own business when all of a sudden you hear a series of soft, but fast, thumps coming towards you. This is the sound of my cat running full speed at you before he jumps and latches onto you leg with his claws. That or he'll run up for no apparant reason and take a few swipes and your ankles and immediately run away before you can figure out what the heck is going on.

My favorite thing he does is come up to you and rub your leg, meowing, wanting attention. So you go to pet him and then WHAM, bites your hand and runs off.

That cat is psychotic and I love it.

No I think he was just owning the back of his leg with his claws. I've had that happen before and it hurts like HELL. Especially if your wearing jeans because they can clamp on instead of just sliding off. You could tell that cat was super pissed because his tail was all bushy. Psyco cats own. Not that I'd want one for a pet its just that they dont take **** from ANYone.

I put a leash on my cat, hook it to a string, tie the string to a lag rock and put the rock in the back yard, every now and then I relocate the rock. My cat's pretty happy about this, she doesn't seem to care about the leash.

But somehow the cat still manages to jump up and snag birds.

My cat is pretty amazing and psychotic too.... he will follow behind us on a walk, then drop back, and as we come back, he gets in the bushs and crouchs down, waiting to pounce, then as the dog walks by, comes flying out of the woods, jumps on him, spins some 360's (yes, the cat does flips and 360's) and then he runs over and pretends like he was just smelling a flower... he honestly did that yesterday, tweaked out on the dog, flipped around, then went over and acted like he was smelling a flower.

He also sits up on couchs and tables and pounces on the dog (little dog, a dashchund) hes an amazing cat....

I love my cat to death, but haven't seen her in a while. I'm at my sister's house now, and her cats are crazy. One keeps kiding under my bed and launching surprise attacks whenever I walk by. It's hilarious.

I have two, they are sisters but no one would ever guess. One has short hair and is very dexterous and fast, the other one looks part persian, is lazy, sheds ALL the time, noisy, and weighs 27 pounds.

Sometimes when they are chasing each other the fat one will get these bursts of speed where she tries to keep up with the other one, and she so fat and has so little energy that when she tries to stop she cant. She will start running sideways and her butt will start to do a fishtail and sometimes she will just fall over and then lay there for a minute.

Here's a few solid reasons why cats are inferior to their competition, dogs, as best household pet (since they're most comparable):

You can't take a cat on a leash. It looks stupid, and like in that video, the cat freaks out half the time.

You can't take a cat outside and go throw the frisbee around, or throw a tennis ball with. The closest thing to that is getting to sit near that imitation crapbox which half resembles a beach and a battlefield of poo.

You can't get cats to do the kind of tricks dogs can. I mean, who doesn't like dogs that can do tricks?

And, of course, cats are damn sneaky. There's always the alterior motive with the cat.

well, if you havn't noticed, cats ARE different than dogs. Thats why they aren't the same thing. I personally like both, but for different reasons.

I like cats because they do things dogs cant. I like dogs because they do things cats cant. (like you mentioned)

Cats are better if they are indoor and personable. They like to follow people around the house and enjoy being in company, but just kinda there. They are like part of the scenery, they are supposed to be anti-social, yet kinda social at the same time. They always get what they want, they always find the most compfortable place possible, and its always cool when that place is on your lap and they start purring. I just cant imagine watching a movie without my cats on my legs and stomach while i'm lying on the couch. Its just part of it.

Dogs are good for thier own reasons, as are cats.

Dogs love you off the bat, after one kind action. It takes time and patience to earn a cats love, etc etc. I still dont get why I can walk over to a random cat, and it will be purring on me 15 seconds later :X

Cat: Will sneak out of the house when a burgler comes calling
Dog: will bark and possible scare off the burgler.
CatDog: Will sneak up and scare the shiat out of the burgler, going for ankles, in fact, any flesh, using its terrible claws to reap havok and possible steal all your tuna.

*loads shotgun*

man I love my cats. cannot imagine life without them.

plus cats are smarter, mine will only do something bad as long as they know they will get away with it.

want a doglike cat? get a manx, I posted about them earlier.
